Guest hosting a Magical Summit is tricky enough, but when someone is out to kill the participants, it turns into deadly fun.
Finally at ease with her newly discovered talent, Abby is ready to face her public. The magical public that is. A Summit has been arranged and everyone who is anyone or anything will be there. Using her celebrity is an uncomfortable situation for her, but with the Oak Point Guard at her side, as well as her creatures, she is prepared to get through anything, even the trial of her arch nemesis. With the panels and festivities contrasting sharply with the solemnity of the trial, Abby feels torn in too many directions. Can the relationship she has with Xander survive meeting his family, or will social pressures drive them apart? Will the gnomes and gargoyles behave, or will Abby be called in by Hotel Spectre security? Find out in Gargoyles in the Round.
Gargoyles, gargoyles and gargoyles. Who doesn't love gargoyles? Especially when they are alive and cute. One of the few full length (although still short) novels by Ms. Grace, this is a novel to be loved for the critters in it. Gargoyles and gnomes, go, go, go. Well, there's also a few other creatures--werewolves, witches, a mermaid or two, a vampire, a wizard and various other interesting folks. But seriously--it's the gargoyles and gnomes that make this such a fun read.
I loved this story. Abby was fantastic yet again and her interactions with the other characters were entertaining. The storyline was captivating. Can't wait for the next one.
