I read this recently, as I'm working on something I'm trying to patent and wanted concrete ideas on how to proceed. Too many business books use fancy language or talk in vague generalizations. This one was an easy read, with practical specific tips for bringing your invention(s) to market.

Good overview of a lot of different aspects of developing products. (At least this is what I thought in 2007).

Something about the title of this book caught my attention -- the idea of combining the role of being a mom with the creative role of inventing. Not that being a mom isn't the most creative outlet there is, but hey, to find a way to do something with those ideas that pop into your head while you're vacuuming or doing dishes or any of the countless things you find yourself elbow-deep in as a mom -- what a concept!

I found the book to be all that AND a bag of chips! In fact, I now have my own copy to spend all the time I want to with and to refer back to as needed. (The copy I first laid hands on was through the Inter-library Loan service of my local library, which for some reason unfathomable to me didn't think it had sufficient appeal to add it to the collection!). Now I'm glad, as I may not have otherwise felt compelled to purchase my own copy.

Reviewed by Emily: "I really like how easy this book is to read. I didn't have to look up even one word and that's saying a lot. I found so much valuable information in one place, making the whole process so much easier and practically stress free. I like how organized everything is and how easy it is to find what you are looking for. I can't wait to get my own copy." We received an ARC in exchange for an honest opinion and review.
