This book and the book right before it (book 7) are definitely the better books out of the series. The editing mistakes are seriously just embarrassing though. Like, who was the editor?? Book 7 and 8 follow a more traditional book format where the story continues throughout the entire book. Books 1 through 6 followed the tv episode format where every four chapters was a different episode with a new monster to fight. I never knew why this book series stopped being made back in the early 2000’s. Maybe it was the terrible mistakes. Who knows.
