Eight men. Two women. Some are ugly. Some are pretty. All are condemned to death and awaiting their fate at the hands of a third-world government. Each is swept up from their respective hellhole and offered the ultimate prize -- their life. An online reality show promises the condemned a suitcase full of cash and their freedom. The only survive, by killing off all the other players. Caught up in this mad "game" is an American, Jack Conrad (Stone Cold Steve Austin). He refuses to cooperate, instead playing by his own rules. As time runs out and the body count mounts, the government tries to shut down the game. Conrad must do everything he can to stay alive.
This is one of my favorite books. It is a good size and a fun read. The start of the book isn't dull nor dry like many books and the entire book in my oppinion is well-written. It's about Jack Conrad who is in prison and a game show that takes the most dangerous prisoners and puts them all in a fight to the death with the reward of freedom for winning. The entire book is intense and it's just an adventure reading this book. I highly recomend it (THOUGH IT IS GORY! so if you can't handle crude material than this is probably NOT your suit).
