the thing about this book is that I got it completely by chance. I just found it in a free book bin at the school library, and I read the summary, and figured since it was so short, it wasn't a big deal if I ended up hating it. I was probably like 13?
but I love this book. it's one of my all time favorites. this book will have a special place in my heart till the day I die. everytime I read it I get something new from it. it's so good and deidre is so funny.
THE FIRST-PERSON NARRATION FELT SO CONVERSATIONAL, AND I FELT LIKE THERE WAS A LOT ABOUT DEIRDRE'S THOUGHT PROCESS A TEEN COULD RELATE TO (EVEN IF THEY'D NEVER JUST STARTED SCREAMING OR SET FIRE TO THEIR BED)
