Read this as a teen and it's stuck with me all this time, a great discover yourself type of teen book, will be giving this to my daughter when she reaches her teens. Re-read this today after buying another better condition copy, still love this book.
I can’t quite wrap my head around what the message of this book is; there are definitely undertones of betrayal and maturing, but overall this is a good book whatever you choose it means. Definitely relate to Christy because she drinks too much coffee and eats too much! Seriously though, I think she is a really well written character with realistic flaws, which makes a nice change. Overall it is a bit of a nothing plot, and the twist at the end was a bit strange. It was like the whole pace of the book had changed pace but it all happened so fast it ruined the tone for me. Definitely needed more ghost action in my opinion.
