An anthology presenting the work of more than thirty women visual artists, musicians and writers, along with essays by each contributor on how she used creativity to mend from childhood abuse. 50 photographs, drawings and paintings.
Twice I've found used copies of this out-of-print book and twice I've lent it to friends who were incest survivors that ended up keeping it (not that I minded) because they could relate so much to the contents and found it so helpful to their healing process. This book is an anthology of creative works by people who are or suspect they are incest survivors. It's intense and moving. If you can find a copy of this book, I'd highly recommend it.
