Never threaten a werewolf’s mate…it just pisses him off.Mandy wants to prove her father’s innocence and her friend Jackson has agreed to help. Only he’s acting strange. In one day he’s gone from “mild-mannered accountant” to “bad-boy sex god” and she can’t keep her hands off him. Now every secret submissive fantasy she’s ever had seems possible, even necessary. It’s very distracting.Max came to Alaska to check on his twin…but Jackson’s missing. When a cute little blonde mistakes him for his brother, he goes along with the charade. Mandy isn’t Max’s type. He likes bold and bitchy, not curvy and innocent. But he’ll soon discover innocence hides some wicked tendencies. Now he’s gotten himself into a real mess. He’s sleeping with a woman who thinks he’s his brother, his werewolf has developed a strange attraction for Jax’s very best, very male friend and bad guys are after Mandy. This can’t end well.
Tielle (pronounced "teal") St. Clare has had life-long love of romance novels. She began reading romances in the 7th grade when she discovered Victoria Holt novels and began writing romances at the age of 16 (during Trigonometry, if the truth be told). During her senior year in high school, the class dressed up as what they would be in twenty years-Tielle dressed as a romance writer.
When not writing romances, Tielle has worked in public relations and video production for the past 20 years. Tielle moved to Alaska when she was seven years old in 1972 when her father was transferred with the military.
Tielle believes romances should be hot and sexy with a great story and fun characters.
Boooooo! What a disappointment! This one is porn without plot all the way. It was pretty much straight effing the entire book. I was looking forward to some of her hot sex scenes with a good little story woven in...nope!

As with earlier entries in this series, there is plenty of nicely sizzling heat relatively quickly set up with interesting characters. The “impersonating identical twin” trope was fluffy but served as a decent frame for some changes in character leading to rather scorching encounters, the strength of the book.
The chemistry between the two men, Max and Gideon, had a bit more heat and exploration than I remember from the previous works in the series (with the exception of the After the Ceremony short).
I've debated back and forth on how to rate. There were things that I liked, and things that I didn't. I liked that in this book in the series, Max was attracted to Gideon right way. Were as the first 2 books, they had to be pushed into it, before they realized their attraction to the other male character. Was that to spoilerish? So between that plus, and I just have a soft spot for hunky werewolves, and Tielle St. Clare does write steamy well, I'm rounding up.
Max comes to Alaska to check on his brother. What he finds are his mates. I'll probably read the next story, only because I want to read Jackson's story. But, I didn't really connect with any of these characters. The sex was hot...
This is the third in the series and not as enjoyable as the other two, I found his reticence grating and the story was stalled almost from the beginning..
