Adnan Oktar (born Ankara, 1956), also known by his pen name Harun Yahya, is a prominent advocate of Islamic creationism in the creation-evolution debate. He is considered to be the leading Muslim advocate of creationism. He subscribes to Old Earth creationism. He is against Zionism and Freemasonry and sees them as very interrelated movements, though he denounces anti-Semitism and terrorism, which he says is a product of Darwinism, not religious fanaticism.

Adnan Oktar founded the Science Research Foundation (SRF, or BAV in Turkish), whose objective is "to [establish]...peace, tranquility and love..."

I own many of Harun Yahya's books.Although he writes about various subjects, they all have one thing in common and that is in each book, they all quote Ayats(verses)from the Holy Qu'ran and every book of which I own of he's anyway, always ends with a mini-book entitled "The evolution deception"which in itself is a very interesting read.I enjoy all of Harun Yahya's books. The man writes a great deal of sense,in my humble opinion.

I used to really like Harun Yahya's books. but the more I read, the more boring it gets. the books are in the same flow; he picks up some topic from the Quran, then selects some ayats, and then he puts some basic elaboration. I mean the books are informative, but I can't enjoy reading them.

Good book which really reminds one to read the deep meaning behind Gods words inside the various verses of the Quran - something I’ve really been trying to remind myself more of versus passively reading the blessed book - otherwise how would we get wisdom from it in relation to our lives? ...

The bonus chapter in the end debunking the scam that is “ The Theory of Evolution” was pretty good too - which was just a taster of many proven and sensible arguments out there that are COMPLETELY valid as to why that theory is a scam and deeply flawed - if it wasn’t enough - there are even more compelling arguments out there for those that doubt and willing to dig deeper which will compel you to reconsider the scam more than ever - and taught in greater entertaining ways

I thought it was really helpful in understanding some basic reasons for learning the quran. Also the last chapters that criticize darwinism are the basis of something that should be explained in more detail. hopefully I'll find a book of that nature
