I initially picked this book up because I was attracted by the design. The book discusses neglected but profitable trends at the market. Though i have no background in such issues, it was presented in a simple sensible way. Its a bit outdated because I believe -more like i feel- that businesses are more aware of the "women thing" nowadays.
Thinking way out, way out of the box is what I DID NOT get out of this book. From the beginning to the end Tom and Martha did an excellent job at stating the obvious, yet we are always looking for home runs, when in reality singles and doubles are just fine. Great book on how to captivate on trends.
Interesting, and I think I learned a few things. But there was way too much of the book focused on women as a market. Actually liked Barletta's chapters better than Peters's.
