I’m looking for some stories to read with my middle grades over the Halloween month and decided to read this one.

There are a few stories in here that I think I can use. My favourite is The Raven.

The writing is obviously a little dated since it’s an older book, but I think I will get the reaction I’m looking for from my students.

This book was really good! I immediately reread it after I had finished my first reading and still occasionally reread it just to enjoy the spooky tales in this book.
