This book has been produced and compiled to show the history of Calais in images and photographs. Today Calais is just a normal frontier town where people from both Europe and UK pass through or shop at the big shopping complex at Cite Europe but they do not really know Calais and therefore this book gives both tourists and locals alike an insight into this frontier town.

About the author

I am a published author, translator and poet. I currently live in Calais in France, I am a British expat. I have written non-fiction and fiction works.

I have been self-publishing since my three seperate publishers went bankrupt. I enjoy designing my own covers, editing, and formatting. I have a lot of author friends and we often help each other out.

When I am not writing or publishing and digitalising music, I am teaching English, composing music, playing the violin and piano, and singing alongside my maestro!!!
