Pam Quinn has a short agenda for her time in the act as maid-of-honour for her best friend, enjoy a Yukon wilderness trip, and maybe indulge in a little Northern Delight with the delectable best man, TJ. Nothing serious, though, because she knows too well that true love is a fairytale that seldom, if ever, comes true. Being kidnapped wasn’t on her list…

Stuck together in the wilderness, TJ’s got one shot to convince her that some fairytales are worth fighting for.

By popular clumsy sidekick wolf grows up, sarcasm reigns, and the wilderness gets wilder. Includes hot nookie in places you expect—like a remote cabin—and places you don’t.

Three and a half
Ms Arend is revisiting her Granite Wolves stories and were possible updating and even expanding them. This book is TJ's story because the previously clumsy Wolf finally seems to grow up as he meets his Mate. Now it's no surprise that with TJ things are never going to be simple and yes it turns out that his Mate is the very human Pam who is in town to act as her best friend Maggie's maid of honour. From the moment they meet there's chemistry but as Pam considers TJ to be far too young for her it doesn't look too promising . Add in the fact that TJ is under orders from his Alpha not to let slip that he's a Wolf and it doesn't look as if their possible romance has a chance . Still you just know that with a wily Wolf making plans anything is possible!
I've always liked TJ but unfortunately I didn't like his book. Why? I think coming straight after the excellent Wolf Games it just lacked action and felt far too tame. Plus TJ always struck me as young and even though I realised he could be quite a hit with the ladies I thought it too soon for his story to be told.
Pam struggles to see herself with a younger guy and frankly she's not that much older than TJ so I definitely didn't get the cougar vibe and TJ might be many things but he's certainly no toy boy! I enjoyed seeing Pam put TJ to the test and at times her attitude was very funny as after all Pam is a K-9 handler so her opinions certainly added to the fun.
This author always writes hot love scenes and gives her readers a happy ending but I am disappointed with this story as I haven't a clue how things will proceed for this couple. I did like seeing how Pam took on the Pack and it's nice to know that TJ grows up but it felt like a story that was just cobbled together to please those fans who wanted to know more about TJ .
I received an advance copy which I've voluntarily read and my thoughts and opinion are honest and I believe fair

Cure for the Klutz

TJ Lynus has been a highlight throughout the series. It's not surprising that he manages to step into some serious doggie doodoo with Pam Quinn and his pack, but I give him credit for the efforts. 😄

Make no mistake. His approach is unorthodox, but he gets results. It's silly and steamy. Although, I do miss some of his goofiness that I found so endearing.

I had higher hopes for TJ's book. I came into this expecting to love it because he's been such a scene stealer. This may not have met my expectations, but I still like it a lot.

I listened to this as part of the 'Granite Lake Wolves' audio book collection. The narrator is Tanya Eby, who continues to do a fantastic job!

Completely addictive.

I am a huge Granite Lake Wolves fan, and the newest addition, Wolf Tracks, absolutely satisfied. These short novellas are perfect when you have a little peace and quiet and just want to escape into a fantasy full of hot men, strong women and a community where loyalty and love abounds. Full of humor, steamy hot monkey (or should I say wolfy?) sex, and plenty of tension, my time always slips away as I rejoin my pack for a few hours.

TJ, the Alpha's little brother, has always been the clumsy goof who everyone loves and counts on. With a heart as big as Canada, TJ longs to find the woman he was meant to share his love with forever.

Pam came to Granite Lake to celebrate her best friend's wedding, clueless that all those in attendance were wolf shifters. When the best man, TJ, bumps into her, she begins to tingle and the beginning of a connection is born. Of course TJ recognizes exactly what is happening, he's found his mate. What would normally be a simple, straightforward situation becomes complicated by the fact that Pam is human. Will she accept him?

TJ has always been the endearing one in the stories, so it is delightful to see him come into his own. Not only does he prove to be a competent protector, his keen intellect serves him well as he strategizes to prove to Pam that they belong together. It was nice to see Pam point out all his strengths when he is used to being the butt of many jokes.

There were so many endearing ways the two clicked, but I think my favorite was their easy humor and snarkiness with each other. And when that boy started singing for her…. *swoon*. It was such a delight to see big bad cop Pam fall hard for sweet TJ. But then who could resist a charming man with a perfect backside for long?

Although this is book four in the series, it will stand alone with ease. When you've read the previous books, it is fun to see what each of the couples are up to, but there isn't necessary background information you will miss. If you have a few hours to slip away, grab a cup of tea and head off to Granite Lake to hang with my pack. Enjoy!

It seems like I've wanted TJ to get his story since book one. He's the adorable, clumsy, dunny, good spirited wolf. He will do anything for his pack and his family. He's loyal and endearing, even though I didn't use to see him as sexy-alpha...and he wasn't very coordinated. I guess he is the proof that a man who is not as domineering can still be very appealing.

TJ realizes right away that Maggie's friend Pam is his mate, while at Maggie's wedding. But she is full human. The mate bond has to be different with a human and TJ doesn't want to scare her away. Especially since she doesn't know her friend, or the family she's marrying into, are a pack of wolves.

Pam stays in town on vacation while her friend goes on her honeymoon and TJ uses that opportunity to woe her.

I loved both of them. TJ changed a bit in this book and became more the sexy man I was expecting him to be but without losing his personality. Pam just seemed like the perfect fit for him, even though I thought she accepted the whole wolf thing very easily.

I was excited for TJ's book, being the Alpha's little brother we've seen a lot of him throughout the series. Clumsy yet lovable, I was anticipating this HEA for him.
TJ shows exceptional growth in Wolf Tracks and Vivian Arend pens it fabulously; he's finally growing into his paws so to speak and it has a great deal to do with finding his mate. A mate who happens to be human and a few years older than him. And while I enjoyed his story, I unfortunately didn't connect with the heroine Pam as well as I have past heroines in the series. I liked that after some convincing Pam accepted the presence of werewolves in the world and didn't take any crap from TJ (you know those domineering and possessive wolfish tendencies) while still standing up for him to everyone else, but Pam was a little too brusque for my tastes. I just couldn't get into her character.
The story-line itself was good though, Wolf Tracks kept me turning the pages and moved at a fast pace. Now I'm really looking for to the next book which is play-boy Jared’s in Wolf Line.

From what I understand, this was added to the series because fans wanted to know what happened to TJ, who's been present since book #1.

I wasn't that taken by TJ in the other books, I liked him in a supporting role but didn't care to learn more about him. Part of the reason is because I feel like his 'clumbsy', 'lanky', 'loud mouth', 'youthful' qualities were going to be really overplayed.... and they were. It was ridiculous. But that was worked into the story and he changes over time ... but still. I don't want to read about a 22 year old that can't chew gum while he walks, even if he does transform into a believable hero within the story.

It was an interesting story, though. I wouldn't have guessed she would have 'gone there' with this book after the layout of the first three books.

But some things in this book were just ridiculous ... such as her being a dog trainer ... ugh. Felt Cliche and overdone.

I was hoping for TJ book since I met him in Wolf Signs, but I did not like the fact his mate is actually human and he has to face serious troubles before actually find his happily ever after.

I liked how he made everything for her to understand the pact and how romantic he was, the kidnapping was perfect because knowing him from several books and he’s like a huge kid without sense of reality. I liked how she faced things but hoped for TJ to have a easy path to happiness.

Since Pam wanted the travel and TJ is working for his brother at the moment, he showed her all the beautiful places and tried to make her fall in love with him and hopefully accept his wolf nature too.

I liked TJ and his actions were nothing new, but the book had it’s moments of fun.

TJ Lynus (younger brother of Keil, the pack alpha) & Pam Quinn (Maggie’s human friend)

TJ is irresistible. When he realizes Maggie’s human bestie is his fated mate, he “kidnaps” her to a remote cabin so he can convince her to give him a chance, before revealing he’s a wolf.

As usual this latest in the Granite Lake Wolves is a great read. The clumbsy boy TJ has grown up and runs into his mate at his brother's wedding, only she is human.
That doesn't deter him though, and he goes after her at full speed. Sweet story filled with romance and humor, I can recommend this book to all.

TJ has always been the little brother, but with Pam, wow, he stepped right up and became everything! Pam didn’t even know werewolves existed, but she listened and learned for TJ, and even she couldn’t fault the logic and the feelings between them. A perfect blend, these two complimented each other perfectly 😊

Loved TJ and Pam, older woman, just a little, younger man/wolf romance

Pam heads to Alaska for her best friend, Maggie's wedding. She is a little worried, Maggie and Eric only met two months ago. When she sees them together, she can't deny the love and happiness she sees.
When Pam meets the best man, TJ, she feels A strong attraction. Pam, 26, doesn't usually go for younger men. She finds herself in a cliche, making out with the best man in the corner.
TJ has found his mate at 22. He is young, but ready. Pam being human complicates things. Keil and Robyn urge caution. TJ only has a short time to convince Pam they are ment to be together. He gets some help from his friends and kidnapped her.
TJ surprises Pam with helicopter trip to a remote lake. She gets a bigger.surprise when it leaves without them. Her emotions are all mixed up. She is mad, but feels safe with TJ.
Then she learns his secret. She learns about mates. TJ makes a list to of things mates do and sets out to sho show her they belong together.
A sweet and steamy, a little older women, younger man shifter romance. Loved how TJ wooed Pam. A nice ending to wrap their story. A sweet and steamy bonus deleted scene.

There isn't much I can say about this story that isn't in the blurb without repeating the entire story. T.J. has been a secondary character as the Granite Lake Pack's alpha's younger and still growing into himself brother. He's been a good hearted if klutzy character. We met the female protagonist in this story Pam Quinn RCMP briefly in Wolf Games as Margret's very protective BFF. She's taking some time off from her work as an RCMP dog handler to serve as Margret's M.O.H. at her wedding to Erik. Pam has no idea that her BFF is a wolf shifter or that almost every guest at her wedding is also a shifter or that such creatures even exist. Despite the fact that Pam is human T.J.s wolf immediately recognizes her as his mate. Pam finds herself highly attracted to the younger T.J. even though he's nothing like the lovers she usually takes. Margaret had talked Pam into taking an adventure excursion while she's on her honeymoon. T.J. who works as a guide for his brother's excursion company plots a way to separate himself and Pam from the rest of the tour group and whisk her off to a secluded cabin for a week so they can get to know each other better. A lot of hilarity along with romance and sex ensues as T.J. attempts to woo his fated mate.

These just keep skipping along.

Maggie and Erik (GL3) decided they wanted a wedding, and Maggie chose to include her BFF, Pam - who happens to be fully human. So the entire pack is on best behavior no wolfing out while Pam is around.

TJ Lynus is best man to Pam’s bridesmaid; when he meets her, he discovers something else. Pam smells like … mate. It is clear she is attracted back, but they have a wedding to celebrate. Though they are paired off in the wedding party, TJ has another duty to fulfill as a musician. He’s not clumsy about music.

But before he and Pam get too involved, TJ talks to his alpha. Keil’s advice, play it very slow as wolves still have a “thing” about fullbloods and halfbloods.

But his mate has needs too, and arranging to meet those needs puts TJ on the outs with his brother. He kidnaps Pam, and gives her an exclusive week in the wilderness.

It gives them time to find their footing.

Sweet.

This story was good but not as good as the previous ones. I think maybe it was to little happening so it felt a little slow. Other than that it was good.
No unnecessary descriptions of surroundings and lots of dialogues, this story has it all so I'm happy to read.

The characters are well described with lots of emotions but again something missing. I think maybe the reason is that Pam is human so the intensity in their connection isn't that strong and that has consequences in the storytelling.

This is a series and I have enjoyed every book very much, other then the things I've mentioned above I have enjoyed this one too.

Really liking this series and being written by a Canadian author with the mention of Canadian places and things make it more special for me.

I have read the series 1 - 5 (Goodreads was down when I finished 4) and this book is my favourite.

I have loved the TJ character throughout the series and was pleased he got his own story. If I was younger, meeting a TJ type person would have me wanting to press myself into him and squeeze his ass. Alas, I am old now so probably would just pitch his cheek and sigh.

Cheers

Wolf Tracks (Granite Lake Wolves #4) by Vivian Arend These short novels/novellas are fluffy fun with sexy bits and engaging characters. Low on the angst and conflict, they're great for an easy, entertaining read. This time, it's klutzy TJ, brother to the pack alpha. To make things interesting, his mate is the pack omega's best friend. Only one problem--she's full human. Let the fun and games begin!

How do a full human and full wolf reach forever or can they?

I loved watching TJ flounder and then come in to who he was meant to be during the week he spent with Pam.
TJ instantly knows that Pam is his mate but how can that be when she is a full human? He basically kidnaps her and takes her to a remote cabin for a week to somehow convince her they are mates and explain what all that entails. Will she believe him or run for the hills so to speak because he is insane?

Enjoyed this, but not as good as Wolf Games. I felt like TJ got older too fast, his young/goofiness in previous books was misleading as to his actual age. Like the first book, problems resolved too quickly. I think I would have enjoyed this more had it been later in the group of books; had it given TJ longer to "get older." "Wolves age faster than humans" just didn't cut it for me.

Loved this story. I do suggest reading the series in order, even tho it is a stand-alone book. Reading the books in order, just fills in little things, and really compliments each story and the overall storyline. This story was a lot of fun to read.

Another captivating novel,

Deepening the family connections, whilst adding a new dynamic. Initially i thought it was a bit twee. It all comes together beautifully, not giving away any of the plots, this was another i couldn't put down book. Thank you Vivian.
