This has some mystery to it now. I do wish it had not went to last year of college and then back to second year of high school. I feel like the bit about Yano in the Tokyo high school should have come first. I wonder what happened to his mom, and what does the paper with Yamomoto's name mean??

I can't!!! This time skip and the build-up of what has happened is so sad! It was a hard scene to read where Take was telling Nanami that she currently "reminds him of someone." I couldn't get over how she waited 5 years, and he still hasn't gone back to her. I'm not sure if I'd be able to do that! Nanami, as selfish as she can be sometimes, deserves to be happy. This volume was better than the other volumes in terms of heart-wrench! I can't wait to see what actually happened with Yano.

I'm loving this series more and more! This was different from the other volumes but that was due to the circumstances. I really feel like I'm growing up with the characters as I am reading their story. I can't wait to see what happens next.

Now they are in their 20’s. And where’s Yano? I’m so worried about that boy.

I don’t like Nanami with Takeuchi. It just feels awkward. They’re meant to be just friends.

Well that was a confusing start of the manga. Suddenly we are 5 years in the future. Nanami is now a senior in College, writing her thesis and searching for a job. At first I didn't even recognize her.

But after you get used to that future thing, the book feels all natural, like you didn't miss anything. I am sad to read that Yano just disappeared, left without any kind of message (well atleast not to Nanami). Though I still think that after that long, Nanami should just move on. Yes Yano was good, he was perfect for you, but after 5 years...

So yeah, I was cheering for Takeuchi when he confessed, and they kissed. Finally! Takeuchi + Nanami = <3 <3 <3

We also got a chapter about Yano, how he started in his new school. It was interesting, but Yano seemed different.

Also why do we still have them (and also on the other cover 10+) on the covers, when they are 5 years further in time, and not even together anymore?

It's been five years since Yano left for Tokyo, and four of those years ago he broke contact with Nanami.
When Nanami moved to Tokyo for college she asked all of her peers to help her find him but to no avail.
Nanami can't help but continue to hope and hold her promise to wait for him, even though everyone around her is telling her to give up and give in to Takeuchi, who, even now, still harbors romantic feelings for her. But just what happened to Yano? Is he even still alive? Will Nanami be able to chase his ghost forever...?

Its like how when you start to like the series. You getting into it, wanting to know where the characters, story will go. But then as you read each volume, whether you're following the manga or just come back to it now and then. You just aren't as interested in the series as you were in the beginning. But at the same time, you still kind of like it. This is how I feel about the series so far. But still wanting to read more. An okay but still good volume though. Love the covers though. Very pretty and in a way, reminds me of a water color style.

URCA!! Son passati quattro anni e Nanami ancora pensa a Yano e continua a rifiutare il povero Takeuchi. Non un saluto, non un messaggio. Niente per anni. E Nanami continua a stare attaccato all'individuo...

Even though Nana and Takeuichi are finally together it's obvious that she still thinks about and loves Yano. I'm not sure what exactly Yano was going, though, but he should have contacted Nana. I feel like somehow Yano will eventually come back and then Nana will break Takeuichi's heart once again.

I don't understand why teh covers are of them in high school, they're grown up know. Also, I can't stand yamamoto. I just can't, had to skip a chapter just to not read about her. Seriously, I hate her, I completely feel no simpithy for her.

Just a continued unhealthy binge on this wildly tragic yet heartwarming series.

You ever been so unbelievably mad and stressed at a character's circumstances even though you know real life is unfair too? Yeah that.

Nanami is so dumb. She shouldn't go out with her boyfriend's best friend if she hasn't let go of Yano yet. It's obvious that she's just using him to fill in Yano's place. I also have a bad feeling about Aki. I don't like her at all.

I must say going to another school never thought Yano could fit in once again. Making yet another girl fall for him. Yet he still has Nanami in her cellphone.
I will read this until the end .love it still. I am still wanting more.

The first and the best shoujo manga I have ever read nothing made me feel what I felt the same as We Were there did.
