This book was a hodge-podge of poorly written reviews/critiques of some of the more well-known horror films (up to the 1980s). Most of the reviews are pretty superficial, and this book hasn't really aged well as the author gives less-than-stellar reviews of films that have gone on to become classics/masterpieces in the genre. The only thing I really got out of this book were some films that I want to go back and watch that I had never gotten around to..
