“All the Way” by Giselle Renarde, was certainly more than I bargained for, even though I’m unsure of what, if anything, I expected. This story wasn’t a lusty ‘bodice-ripper’, but there were moments while reading I found myself holding my breath waiting for the second (or third) shoe to drop. It’s wonderful when that happens. The short break from super buff ‘he-men’ who dragged women by the hair was appreciated; the opportunity to look into working relationships was enlightening.

The main characters in the story were ‘real’, believable and familiar to me. I especially loved that there was racial diversity in the story; there’s so little in mainstream offerings. While I hesitate to call the story ‘sweet’, it does have the feel of a somewhat racy Hallmark movie, only about threesomes. I’d recommend it because it left me with warm fuzzies.

A quick MMF story that ends with the virgin man leaving the threesome amicably for another person. It was cute and I liked the ethnic diversity of the three main characters.

A more fascinating menage trois

This was a fun story. The openness that she had with her husband Rob about her ex Kaz is refreshing. They were not shy about sharing themselves physically and emotionally. There were real connections and trust in the reconnection at Christmas. Definitely not your normal Christmas holiday get together. I was glad to see Josie and Rob become more connected. They both had previous embracing sexual experiences as preteens and teens. This menage lead to truths that helped everyone move on.

A bit light on the plot end of things, but a fairly sweet and fluffy piece.
