A collection of two hundred photographs taken by Ozzie Sweet, the premier photographer for SPORT magazine from the late 1940s through the 1960s, features portraits of legends such as Mickey Mantle, Bobby Hull, and Paul Hornung.
Steve Wulf is a senior writer for ESPN The Magazine and ESPN.com. He is one of the founding editors of The Magazine, as well one of the founding fathers of the original Rotisserie League. Before joining ESPN, Wulf wrote for Sports Illustrated and Time magazine. (His story on the assassination of Yitzhak Rabin was awarded first prize in News by the Overseas Press Club in 1995.) His specialty is baseball, having interviewed hundreds of players, from Aaron to Zobrist. He and his wife, Jane Bachman Wulf, are the proud parents of Bo, John, Elizabeth and Eve, all of whom were pitchers and currently work in sports.
