i like this book because its anime and i like when people battle with like special attacks

While I was annoyed with the twist, I still enjoyed this book. I really liked that Paola wasn't just the girl who always yelled and hit the main character and always needed saving like in some other shonen series that had come out around the same time and earlier. There was a point where she jumped in and got him out of the way (which is usually reversed) and in vol. 1, she saved him from getting hit by an attack that could have killed him.
I'm still not sure how I feel about her yet, though.

Because of how the book is since about 3 months ago this is my favorite series of books.
This is how it all happened: my friend read this book and he liked it so he told me to read it and i said
sure then i read it and i was like WOW!!!
That´s a great book and ever since it was my favorite book series.That's why i rated it 5 stars! =P

I genuinely think there's not enough discussion about how clever this series is out the gate with its points of intrigue. The world-building and exposition leave something to be desired at times, and I feel like there's too much reliance on Macguffins at this stage of things, but it's genuinely not bad and I'm entertained.
