I can't decide if I should rate this 4.5 or 5 stars.

I really enjoyed this volume a lot and as I talked about in my review for vol. 3, that Paola surprised me with how she's holding her own, she's not constantly needing to be rescued and isn't just the annoying female sidekick that just yells at and hits the guy whenever he does something stupid, like many other shonen fighting series were doing at the time, which is why I rated this book so high (also because I enjoyed this book more than the first 3) and she's also not annoying like hollywood has made the "strong independent femsle character". I put those in air quotes because they completely miss the point when it comes to those characters and didn't write them properly.
I know a lot of people would immediately think of Sakura from Naruto, but she got a lot better after the timeskip. I stopped hating her after the Chunin exams. Anyways, this is not about that, I'll probably talk more about her when I finish the last few books in that series.

This volume finds Beet and Paola on the shores of the Vandal lands, determined to bring the fight to them. The duo discover that not all vandal busters are as honourable as they are. They also meet up Beet's old friend Kissu, who may not be all that Beet thinks he is. Finally, Beet must battle the Vandal assassin, Frausky who has orders to kill Beet at all costs.

Beet and Poala have arrived at the Vandal Islands and are ready to lay on some punishment - but could the arrival of Kissu put a wrench in their plans? Sanjo delivers another enjoyable entry with more action and mystery. To make matters worse, Beet may very well have a powerful assassin after him, willing to kill at all costs!
