Brief and, for the most part, "sufficient" overview of the war. However, in order to understand the Spanish civil war, one must be familiar with the radical changes that the Second Republic brought to Spain, and on that front, this book is too light on details. If one is left craving for more, it is worth checking "The Spanish Civil War" by Paul Preston

Sobrecogedora.
