Quality art, plot thickening slowly.

We're finally getting to know more about who they're fighting , what the general plan of attack is, and just how far they have to go before they get close to the end. We learn why the world is unbalanced and just how quickly it's getting worse. This is not as strong as the third book but it's on it's way to getting more interesting.

I'm still very unhappy with how everyone seems to pick on Kengo, beating him up, ignoring him, basically stealing his room without permission for a meeting. I get that it's supposed to be the token "dumb friend" character and his situation is supposed to be for comic relief, but it's just not funny to me. I'm similarly disappointed in how Kou has moments of perverseness towards Aya. I get these are cliche character tropes in specific manga genres, I just feel they don't add much to the story, and it feels like a sort of cheap way to add comedy to a situation instead of actually placing something funny in place.

I was just getting into the story and I'm a little sad that the rest of the series wasn't translated into English.

Akira and the gang are confronted by Homurabi, the evil of the two shadow kings whose goal is a sort of world(s) domination. Shirogane unleashes his strongest attack that he is able, but is reflected by Hiryu, one of Homurabi's five (now four, with the death of the first that had appeared) shin "children".
Being quite amused by their efforts to combat him, Homurabi decides to retreat so that Hiryu's wounds may be treated to. But before leaving, he implies that he will return very soon... It becomes evident that they are all powerless in the presence of Homurabi, and so they set out to find additional teammates.

Well, now I'm starting to get lost. There is just so much detail in all of the... the... I don't even know! But I'm starting to like this a lot more now. I hope that my library will get volume five to me soon!
