Pure nostalgia value. Published in 1980, this is a spiral-bound board book where Strawberry Shortcake and her friends learn about colors. What’s odd is that they’ll haveca 2-page spread for each color, and the text will name something of that color and ask the reader to find other items of that color. But there will usually only be two or three other things of that color. The illustrator could have put more items of the color to find, in a book about color.
