This is a fictionalized account of a boy and his family who experience the three days of darkness and Christ’s visit to the Nephites. It is quite well written and illustrated. It is fairly lengthy, so better suited to older kids.

I love the story of Easter told from the Americas but it was much too wordy for my kiddos.

Incredible. We read it every Easter.

LDS perspective based on the Book of Mormon...nice way to tell children about Christ's resurrection and what the Nephites experienced. Brought tears to my eyes.

Such a beautifully written and illustrated depiction of the events surrounding the time of Christ's crucifixion and subsequent visit to the Nephites after his resurrection!

I like that this book reminds LDS children about the other part of the resurrection story -- Christ's appearance to the Nephites in the New World. I wasn't, however, crazy about the illustrations.
