What with the stunning surreal art on every panel and the ghostly musical setting (I had this impulse to play Franz Schubert's "der erlkonig" while I read, referenced in the opening chapter), this manga never fails to shake me

El nivel de expresionismo en las imágenes de este volumen es abrumador. Reflejan con intensidad las dualidades que enfrenta Mori: el conflicto entre su familia y su pasión, el momento crucial en el que cree que puede triunfar, y la incertidumbre de saber que podría perderlo todo por perseguir una meta que parece irreal. Al mismo tiempo, es imposible ignorar cuánto ha luchado para llegar hasta aquí, lo que añade aún más peso emocional a su decisión.

Sumado a esto, el dibujo y la atmósfera logran transmitir una experiencia profundamente inmersiva. La incertidumbre de si Mori logrará o no alcanzar su objetivo crea una situación asfixiante, donde la lectura se vuelve tensa, emotiva y llena de contrastes. Es un tramo final que encapsula toda la esencia del personaje: un equilibrio entre lo sublime y lo trágico.

Este es camino, aparentemente, al último capítulo en la travesía del protagonista. Pero, al mismo tiempo, es un momento en el que Mori es completamente consciente de lo que tiene, de lo que puede perder y de lo que deberá sacrificar para seguir adelante. Con todos los eventos previos y los ecos de los personajes que lo acompañaron en esta historia, se vuelve inevitable pensar que este podría ser su desenlace definitivo.
