Roxanne is a USA Today Bestselling, award-winning author of forty romantic suspense, mystery, and heart-warming, emotionally charged relationship novels in the clean & wholesome, as well as inspirational romance genres.
She got her first horse at the tender age of six and grew up riding bareback with wild abandon throughout her small Minnesota town year-round. It was like giving a child car keys!
She showed horses for many years, and later, she and her husband raised quarter horses and thoroughbreds until their kids came along.
She's living her childhood dream, living on an acreage in the country with her husband, three horses (all beloved elderly pasture ornaments, now), a golden retriever, a Mountain Cur rescue, and six fluffy barn cats. It's a much smaller menagerie than when their three kids were still at home!
Ranches, animals, and small-town life frequently find their way into her books.
Final Exposure was a nice read. I love reading the Love Inspired Suspense novels when I need to get away from the more hard core Suspense novels I like to read. Roxanne Rustand is a very good story teller and I really had no clue who was after Erin until the end which is something I really like in a suspense. I hate when I can figure it out before the end, though it happens because when you read a lot of mysteries or suspense's you just learn to figure them out.
The characters were three dimensional so you could really feel for them and want them to have things work in their favor. I love the dog, Charlie too. (Okay so I am a dog lover) Its a small book and a fast paced read, that I found very refreshing. I can't wait to read more from this series.
I just finished Roxanne Rustand's Final Exposure, a Love Inspired Suspense novel. I loved her characters. It's the classic story of a wounded hero, a caring heroine and a little boy lost. Oh, and toss in a big white puppy! On the other side of the coin, a mystery from the past and red herrings abound in this story of romantic suspense that will keep you reading and pay off with a big surprise at the end!
Final Exposure of Roxanne's Big Sky Secrets set in Montana is full of suspense, twists, and mystery.
Erin takes over running her grandfather's store in Lost Falls when he retires, looking forward to going back to the place she loves. She rents out the cabin next to the store to Jack and his young nephew which helps with the loneliness she is feeling. She starts to question her sanity when things go missing.
This fast-paced suspense is filled with unexpected twists, mysterious happenings, and sweet moments of laughter and fun. I loved the characters and the author did a good job of keeping me engaged in the action, wondering what was going to happen next. I will definitely read more of Roxanne's books. Highly recommended.
Carrie is on the run from her ex-husband and winds up in a small town in Montana. She's summer teaching with the hope of making it permanent. She also almost qualifies for river rafting. Nothing goes smoothly. Her ex shows up and threatens her. Her boss at the river rafting business was exonerated on a previous murder charge. The jury found him innocent but small towns have long memories. A murder from the past and another while Carrie is there. I found the new murder to be consistent with the old one and the ending was a surprise.
FINAL EXPOSURE - BIG SKY COUNTRY #1 - (Jack and Erin)

A quiet retreat is just what Jack and his orphaned nephew, Max, need--especially with gentle, beautiful Erin Cole as their host. But when sirens in the night leave Max screaming, Jack's faced with the harsh truth. They're not safe--not him, not Max and especially not Erin. What is she hiding? This book was set in Montana (Big Sky Country). I enjoyed the characters in this book: Jack Matthews, his orphaned nephew, Max, the store owner, Erin Cole, and her dog, Charlie. There was several plots and just enough characters to keep it interesting but simple.
In enjoyed this novella. A quick suspenseful read that was very well developed with great characters. Loved the dog and boy, can't go wrong with a cute dog in the story.
