After narrowly escaping an invasion of his home planet by an ancient force of mysterious, demonic invaders, a shipbuilder finds himself drifting alone in a tiny, self-constructed pod-ship, far into the vast unknown regions of a starless void.

10*s. I received and eARC copy of this book directly from the author in return for an honest review.
WOW, I loved it!! Its creepy and awesome all at once!! I love the plot and the story line. The only thing I didn't like about this story was how it ended. This story can scare the pants right off you and give you nightmares. Its action packed and full of horror all the way!! This is a MUST read that will make you crave for more and leave us to our own imagination at the end!! I am extremely excited to read more of this series and find out more about sweepers!! I am very curious and intrigued by this first story!! Thank you, Joseph Beekman for the opportunity to read this remarkable story!!
I reread this after downloading it during the promo on Amazon. The mark of a good book - when every time you read it, you notice more and learn more. I sure did notice more this time around and I loved that aspect of the book and the ability of the author.
Being a short story you don't delve into the reasons the ghost invaders are wiping out mankind systematically. That's something I would have liked to have known. Think I read through the entire story in about an hour altogether. If you like sci-fi this little book will be to your taste I would think.
