My school saw a phenomenal motivational speaker, Craig Conrad, and all my kids have totally bought in. They loved seeing and hearing about real kids their ages succeeding and failing on their own terms. Our basketball practices have turned a complete one-eighty and the kids in my classes simply want to sit in my class and read all day. An English teacher has to tell kids they can't read; I never thought I'd get to see the day.
