When Lana Glenn fled from the abuse and uncertainty of her childhood, she hadn’t known where she was going or what would come next. She certainly hadn’t expected four handsome, kind, protective men to stumble into her life and claim her as theirs.
Even though her life has been far from easy since she met the four men she was always destined to be with, Lana has found safety, happiness, and love with them. She can see a future she never expected to find, and her happy ending is almost within her grasp.
Just one small snag – a race of monsters, sent by the ‘powers for evil’ hell bent on destroying her, before she destroys them. Lana and her twin have the power to destroy their enemy, or so everyone says, but are they strong enough to overcome the trauma life has handed them, and learn to fight back? And can they stay alive long enough to do that?
Can Lana, her fated mates and her long lost brother really do what is necessary to save their entire race?
This is book two of a three-part, slow burn, reverse harem, PNR series. It contains references to past abuse, violence and swearing. 18+
Like i said in my review of the first bookin this series, a lot of this book is so repetative dialouge that it could be removed without hurting the plot or character development (if you could even say there is any? She keeps saying she is tired of being how she is, crying, weak, selfdoubting, she does nothing to change or better herself?)
Im not trying to be mean, but i really expected more of this author, and this series has sofar been very disappointing.
Finding Evil continues Lana’s story with the guys and sees them dealing with the fallout from the previous books cliffhanger as well as trying to stay safe from their enemies. I loved reading this book, the characters were brilliant and I fell in love with them even more when reading, as well as a story which kept me captivated throughout. This book built on the story introduced in the first book and eventually saw Lana coming into her powers. Overall, I loved this book and I’m looking forward to the next book, I would recommend giving it a read.
I am enjoying the series, but this 2nd book left me puzzled due to too many questions. What about the book she found at the library in book 1 that seemed important? Did she read it? What was it about? How did she get her powers back from her brother without seeing him? Why does Joel's power to sense if someone evil is coming only work occasionally? There are more questions, but I don't want to reveal spoilers. Hopefully the series will make sense in book 3.
I am enjoying the series and will be jumping straight into book3 but... Why does Joel's power not sense danger all the time? What happened with the books from the library? What's with the sibling's power? It's there, it's not there? What's going on? AND why, oh why, do the guys think they're not going to be harmed when they keep getting harmed?
I am hoping book3 will answer some questions and give me closure.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
Lana has disappeared after suffering from on her episodes. Only to end up near the enemies alongside a man who claims he is her twin brother.
Then these two teleport away & she is trying to reason with him that they need to go back to her Quin.
It take a minute but eventually she does but then her brother finds his Quin as well & she then has to come to terms with him being away from her again.
She still has to face so many threats against her & faces downs a few.
That club scene & the aftermath was rough but so happy to see her finally come into her power.
I am for sure very interested in seeing how it continues in the next book though.
This is second book in series and it’s so good, the way the guys are there for her although she traumatised she is gaining strength from her guys their gifts now that’s she is 25 are super strong and now I get to read the way they handle the venators finally fingers crossed.. thanks Kerry I love your writing and books so much they make you think you are not alone with your trauma although I would like to find my own harem
this might be my least fav of kerrys series but i still am reading it cause i love and will eat up any trashy novel if there is some good sweet talkin lmao. that was such a weird place to end a book though. i get its an unfinished series but it couldve finished when lana came into her gift or something a little more climactic to make you NEED to read the next book. that was just boring and doesnt scream ‘omg i need the next book this second’
I wanted to like it, but I just couldn't stop myself from skipping/skimming due to repetitivenes. I thought that adding her brother was a good twist but once I started reading the story I changed my mind. The brother took away from the storyline for me. Her relationship with men seems unhealthy to her personal development as they try to protect and soothe her every page. I couldn't finish.
I really have enjoyed both books in this series. As much as I love a good raunchy book from time to time, I really enjoyed the fact they got to know one another before jumping into all that. I'm looking forward to the third book. I am anxious to read more that you've done!
I loved this book and really enjoyed how the plot thickened and we get more answers but A LOT more questions! The relationships that are developing are amazing and it’s greet to see Lana come into her own!! I can’t wait to see what’s next as I know there will be a lot more action and adventure!
She is coming in to her own. Her growth is amazing. I can't wait for the next book. She is also very well protected by her four guys who are awesome in their own special ways. Story is unique in many ways.
Kerry blew me away with this segment of Lana's story. I love how deep she goes into the development of her characters. You can feel the story unfold naturally, and her relationships aren't forced or hurried. Great book, I can't wait for the rest.
Lana grows a lot and learns how manage her past a bit better this book. But also there’s so much more thrown at her with finding Noah, the brother she doesn’t remember. She’s fragile and takes more hits. But she also gets frustrated with this. I do have to add a point to my RH tally for kidnapping
I'm really enjoying this storyline. All the MMC's are wonderful and very supportive. Lana can be a little needy at times but after what she's been through its understandable. I can't wait to see how her and Noah are as a team.
I can’t wait to see how this series ends. I’m so attached to the Quint, and I love how much they all love Lana. This book had a nice mix of action and spice!
It picked up great from the first one. I couldn't review the first one for some reason. I like the characters and the storyline as well. Great series so far.
Kerry Taylor makes strong FMC! Even though they got through hell to become stronger. Love this series, and I can't wait to read the third and final book. So good!!
