wow !! the sequel to chnadrakanta , this santati part 1 is as engaging as the original Chandrakanta.
the story doesnt end with this part, i ahve yet to read part 2 and more.
but what really glued me to it was the superb story and the story style as well. the plot expands here, there are many characters and at some places as i left the book in the middle due to some other pressing concerns, it really was easy to get back to track. the author connects various pieces in easy to understand as well as easy to follow manner, while maintaining the mystery and thrill.
since i mostly read in english (alright all books i read in current year are in english ), reading in hindi was a pleasurable experience, the language used is a mixture of urdu and regional hindi, many words we know of, many were new or rather not much in use now. but still the pleasure of reading in a language which is your mother tongue is something to be experienced for yourself. i say this because increasingly people are reading english, everywhere we see english authors getting the max adverstising and reading in english is said to be a sort of milestone in indian society. i have nothing against english though. i myself enjoy reading english as well as hindi.
coming back to this book there are love triangles, fantasy, revenge , spies (aiyaar) and tilism. the pace of the story is fast . i immensely enjoyed it and am off to reading part 2.

Another masterpiece by Khatri, after Chadrakanta. A great epic fantasy world, one of its kind. Highly recommended for Hindi people.

Awesome... contemporary of Sherlock Holmes series....first hindi thriller novel in India..proved itself a awesome version of fantasy and thrill...loved it.

Everything is just perfect as needed... nothing to dislike ..if you are classic reader go for it..I can link myself to this story and imagination become more real when you know this places personally.. (although not exactly as explained but cities are in existence)
