Turn Stress Into Bliss: The Proven 8-week Program For Better Health, Relaxation, And Stress-relief

Rate this book
Recently, Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy, a well-respected certifying yoga school and organization, has created a program to help people reduce stress through yoga. The findings have been spectacular. The eight-week program has helped students find a 55% reduction in stress-related symptoms (mostly of a physical nature, such as upset stomach, headache, etc.). These findings have already been reported in Yoga Journal. Turn Stress Into Bliss is an at-home version of this proven program. The book includes a description of the course and its results, why it works, and then a complete eight-week program, including meditations, asanas, and lifestyle changes that readers can do on their own.

This is for my Wednesday night yoga class: Women moving into Their Wisdom Years. I have homework everynight - which may or may not include a bubble bath.

I finished my 8 week class and it was wonderful.I will continue to use the yoga, breathing, meditation, and journaling to some degree.

This book is more geared towards the beginner at meditation, someone completely stressed out, than the advanced yogi. A few good exercises, some of which I'll use in my own practices, and some with my students.
