It is sad that despite a significant popularity of the first book in this series, Catmagic, the following dropped off significantly by this book #5. I think this is the most action packed of the series and it continues to have all the positive attributes of the earlier books. Holly Webb has created a wonderful fantasy series for young girls who love animals. A must read for girls who are a little too young for Harry Potter. Great strong girl character!
