Unsure if Bryan was even alive after the accident Taylor knew he had to see him one last time. Breaking out of jail and making it back into the hospital that he had been forcefully kicked out of by the police earlier that day would not be easy, but it would be worth it. Taylor never thought logically when put in stressful situations like the one earlier that day, and he knew that was how he ended up here. Taylor knew it was too late to look back now, he was breaking out and seeing the man he loved, and nothing was going to stop him.
This is a good 3 star book. A gripping plot that bounced between endearing and absurd. Its desire to stand as a banner for gay equality is frustrated by drama too extreme to fully capture the reader's heart or mind. Although slightly disappointed in the book, I'm definitely disappointed in the many 5 star reviews. I often find myself wondering if we were talking about the same story. I don't always agree with the Academy Awards either but then I watch a movie for the same reason I read a book... Enjoyment, Endearment, Engagement and Excitement.
