Though the contest started with forty models in FACE VALUE, the first book in the series, the number has dropped to ten, and readers will be drawn back into the drama to see who will win.

The competition for who will become America's Next Top Model continues for Lindsay, Chloe, and Alexis, but Shiva-Rose has been eliminated from the contest. Unfortunately for Lindsay, Chloe, and Alexis, the queen witch, Erica, has been transferred into their apartment to replace Shiva-Rose - who is moving on to become Brittany's assistant photographer.

The girls are challenged in new ways as the fourth installment of the series progresses. It's not bad enough that the three remaining friends have to live with Erica, but their first modeling lesson is a hard one. They must learn to show their compassion and interest in the world around them by serving others in a Harlem shelter. Though one girl's outfit adds up to over $600.00 and another asks if there is any hand-sanitizer, the group must face the reality that there are places in New York where selfishness will only stand in their way.

When it comes down to six models, the girls must be able to walk the runway wearing gorgeous clothes and impersonating the kinds of people who walk the streets of New York. Who will be the best? Readers who have followed the series will look forward to the ending to find out who wins the competition, who learns what is really important, and who chooses a new direction for her life.

I have read the previous three books in the series and if I am not wrong, this is the last book. The ending is sorta' hanging. I mean, what happens next? I don't really get it. A worthy read though. I learn a great deal about fashion and life lessons. Humor, romance. It's two in one!

Great book, loved reading it but I'm happy/sad about the ending, it could have been better if this is the last book in the series if not it leaves room for a 5th!

Decent conclusion to the 4 book series- the addition of a stalker for Lindsay, and providing a genuine villain in previously background character, Erica, as well of being the conclusion of the competition, gave this book a little more suspense. All in, this series was fun- and were entertaining, easy reads to speed through during a summer rainstorm. Recommended for fans of Gossip Girl books.
