Visited the Louvre in June 2013. This guide is just the tip of the iceberg of what the museum has to offer. Looking back at the artwork I saw in person is just nostalgic.
It was good for some brief highlights of the Louvre, although there were other important artworks I might have added as well. Ultimately, it was worth the money. I almost wish I had bought it before seeing the Louvre, as I missed some of the pieces in the book.
Bought this book as a souvenir from my visit at the Louvre. It is a great little book highlighting the best works the museum has to offer. It was nice to revisit some of the works I had seen, lots of great pictures. I do wish I had this book with me while I was walking around the museum.
I wish it would have had more details about the pieces it presented and the artists that made them. It was more of a quick catalog that did very little of anything.
