I don’t know how Helen Hardt does it but this is book 26 and I want more! The next generation of Steels have uncovered the past that their parents thought they buried. Once you get to the halfway point you are not going to be able to put this book down. Old ghosts have come back to haunt the present. DO NOT flip to the last page early! This is one of the biggest cliffhangers yet.

Fortune was amazing, but all the Steel Brothers books are amazing! Helen Hardt doesn’t disappoint!!
Ava and Brendan’s relationship becomes sexier and deeper, but with more family drama and mysteries unveiling they stick together to figure things out and grow deeper in love!!
Of course another cliffhanger and more drama to unfold! I can’t wait for the next book!!

Ava has learned so many things about her heritage. Things that her family wanted desperately to keep hidden. However, someone wanted her and Brendan Murphy to know the secrets that the Steel family holds closed up tight.
Through some ominous text messages and emails that they have received, they have uncovered many clues as to Ava's ancestry, which also brings forth clues regarding the death of Brendan's great uncle Sean Murphy.
My goodness the information I have gained in reading this book, but lawd have mercy, the questions I now have beckoning for answers, that I hope will come when I read Destiny.
As always, Helen Hardt has written an A+ book with a captivating storyline. I could not put this book down. I give this book the highest of 5 stars and recommend it to all others to read, HOWEVER, it is a series, and MUST be read in complete order starting with Craving book 1.

Oh my - gaaaah! This book has all the recaps and details of the past 25 books all coming to a boiling point as Ava tries to figure out the truth of who she is and confronts both of her parents! Even with all this information, and so more finally making sense, we still don’t have the final price of the puzzle. We finally know that there has been an evil genius behind all this the entire time - and if you’ve been paying attention, that’s a huge clue without naming names. I’m ripping my hair out not so patiently waiting for the last few books of what is sure to be some of the very best of Helen’s writing! Phenomenal! That’s what this book was! Simply, phenomenal! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Thank you for the advanced copy of Fortune. All thoughts and opinions are my own. I have enjoyed every one of the Steel Brothers Series books and this one was no different. All I can say is Wow. Helen blew me away again. There was a ton of up and down with the mystery and the story with Ava and Brendan blows me away. It is so much fun to read as each of these characters have had their own romance and how they fight for their love. The book is so engaging and at every turn, you cannot wait to see what will happen. As with each of her books, I cannot wait to see what happens next.

Wow what a great cliffhanger. I’m glad I kept the last 6 to read together; I could have waited to book 27 last year. Dang good one Helen Hardt. Love the chemistry between Ava and Brendan. ❤️❤️

Another suspenseful Steel read
Seven years ago, I took the chance to read Craving, book #1 in Helen Hardt's new series Steel Brothers Saga. It was emotional, suspenseful, and mysterious, keeping me riveted to the edge of my seat. Twenty-six books later and nothing has changed, well that's not exactly true, Helen has moved onto the younger generation and the mysteries and secrets are just getting deeper and deeper. FORTUNE is the second installment in Ava Steel and Brendan Murphy's trilogy, and it raises many questions, answers a few, and drops a bombshell that had my jaw hitting the floor.
Ava and Brendan fast became my favourite coupling of the Steel family's younger generation. They are both fiercely independent, strong in personality, intelligent, and love deeply. Finding alone time together isn't easy, especially when they're swamped with work, planning an anniversary party, and trying to solve the riddles of the text and email they have both received. Together they are like fire - smoking HOT. Even though there is an age gap between them, it's not a big deal, even for their families. They're two peas in a pod, encouraging, supporting, loving, and comforting. I loved that Brendan just wants to look after Ava and help her deal with everything she is facing.
A lot happens in this book, explanations regarding past events, revelations about relationships, discoveries of relationships not previously known, understand and acceptance as to why secrets were kept, and even more questions arising about the remaining mysteries and secrets. Ava is struggling with who she is and where she truly belongs. She constantly refers to her tarot cards which causes her a vast amount of stress, they have her believing that there is a darkness surrounding her family, an evil and danger that could destroy everything that she knows and loves. Who or what could that evil be?
Once again Helen Hardt has presented a captivating and mesmerizing story. An unputdownable read that had me continually edging towards the edge of my seat. Next up is Destiny, the final book in Ava and Brendan's trilogy, and I can't wait to see what happens.
FORTUNE: another superbly suspenseful read in this phenomenal series.

Fortune takes us back to Ava and Brendan and how their relationship has progressed. For new readers, beware that this is a continuation of a very long series, and this book along with a few others starts to move on to the younger generations of the family. As always Helen Hardt delivers a suspenseful drama filled with secrets, lies, love and more questions than what they started with.
So much happens in this book, past events coming to light, new discoveries and Ava, who feels like she is stuck right in the middle without a clue of who she really is. When both Ava and Brendan start to receive creepy, unknown messages from a sender neither of them know, the families start to act differently, more secretive than ever. As the plot thickens, and more and more is revealed, Ava starts to feel that her connection and relationship with Brendan is the only thing keeping her grounded.

Helen has always given us Epic suspense Romance reads and Fortune is on the top of the list. You have everything a romantic suspense book could hold. The mysteries of the past are coming out stronger than ever. Ava's parents Ryan and Ruby are acting so odd that it doesn't go unnoticed. When another extremely chaotic and terrifying event happens Ava is torn between solving this mystery and getting down to the bottom of why her parents are acting so Aloft. And sticking beside her parents through this troubling time.

Book 26 of the Steel Brothers, Fortune, continues the story of Ava and Brendan who continue their search for answers to the mysteries that keep arising. Leaning on each other, they work their way through the ups and downs of the discoveries they are making, but remain steadfast and devoted to each other through it all. Being a Steel, Ava has always prided herself on not using her inheritance to keep her business running and after what she learns in this book, she is even more grateful for her decisions on the matter. The secrets being held onto the closest by Ava’s parents is enough to make Ava question everything she thinks she knows, while giving her the answers to some of her questions that were raised by her tarot card readings. Overall, I loved this book and can’t wait to hear how this couples chapter ends.

Oh my goodness! I had to make notes while reading this book to keep up with all the twists and turns of this story! What a plot! The Steel Brothers Saga is one of the best ever in romance, mystery, evil, second chances and jaw dropping plot lines. Fortune is a great addition to Ava and Brendan’s story. I can’t wait to get to the next book in their happy ever after.
Ava and Brendan continue their quest for the truth that the Steel family has been keeping all these years. While doing so they are holding on to each other and their relationship is becoming stronger. It is gut wrenching for Ava to hear some of the things her parents as well as her cousins and uncles have gone through while learning that people can truly have some horrible secrets.

Ava and Brendan are in the middle of a mystery and its one her parents seem to know more about than they are telling her. What do these clues mean? Ava and Brendan are a great couple. They love each other and take care of one another.. and this situation brings them frustration and intrigue. But it will it bring them closer or tear them apart?
Helen Hardt has created the world of the Steels, and she’s made it twisty-turny and with mystery and intrigue through the entire series of books. I am a Steel Brothers fan, and will continue to be. I love the mysteries and the love stories all woven in to one. Learning about the younger generation is interesting. I can’t wait for the next book… every single time!

Love the continuing new generation books of this series!
Brandan and Ava continue their journey to find out answers. They do get answers, but not all, and they are disturbing, to say the least. Their relationship is strong and they face this together. They have so much information to absorb and take in. It was good to hear the events of the past books in this series be summarized as a reminder of how good this book and series is. Excellent writing and putting into perspective so it is understandable with all that’s happened. So many characters, that it could seem like a complete puzzle, but you, Helen Hardt, unraveled it beautifully. I can’t wait to read more about Brandan and Ava in the next book.

Still trying to figure out who she is Ava starts to learn things about her family, about the past that they have tried to keep hidden.
After receiving emails & text messages Ava is on a mission to find out what they mean. Brendan is trying to help Ava figure things out and also trying to find out what his connection is with the Steel's.

Things may be in the dark right now, but the light is coming...
More secrets and ambiguous messages abound. Ava believes the tarot cards will give her an answer, but the cards she draws are disturbing. Wow I really enjoyed this book ,Wasn’t disappointed.Well Ava stands out runs the local bakery receiving cryptic messages that makes her question her family and look into the past .Brendan Murphy also receives the same cryptic messages .That brings Ava and Brendan close and ask questions .Ava and Brendan falling in love .Brendan realise there’s a connection with Ava Steels family .The cryptic message is an anagram that opens to more questions ,Grandmother so Ava goes to her parents to get some answers which makes Ava question who she is as she listen to her parents stories of both sides it rattles Ava .Brendan uncovers something and more unfolds I can not wait for the next book .Thankyou Helen Hardt

Helen Hardt has left me realing after reading this book! I can’t wait for the next book to find out the answers im dying to know!!
Ava learns the horrible past that her family has hid for so many years she’s angry but wants to know more about her families past and Ava will need Brendan more than anything.
But it turns out that Brendan has a few past secrets of his own that his family knew nothing about! As they learn what all those secrets are and how those letters him and his dad have been receiving may somehow connected to the steels!!???
This book gave me some answers and a aha I thought that would happen moments! I can’t wait for the next book!!!

Fortune is the 26th book in Helen Hardt’s Steel Brothers Saga and the romance and mystery continue. Just when you think you have the Steel Family secrets and mysteries figured out, more pieces and clues unfold and leave you grasping for more. Ava and Brendan are just beginning their relationship and are being pulled into their families past, present, and future. I love how this couple loves and respects each other's individuality and uniqueness and can lean on one another in so many aspects of their lives, love, work, the secrets and mysteries of their families. I can’t wait to see how these new characters are linked and how they can work together to solve their families' mysteries while falling in love.

This cliffhanger is so high………………
I have read everything has written and she just keeps getting better!! Brandon and Ava go on a magical mystery ride, no that’s not true but I’m not going to spoil it for you. If you’re a dedicated fan of Helen’s the way she takes this part and that part and weaves them together so seamlessly and and all at once you’re say No F#&king way. It’s like a 2x4 to the head. All in all we end up taking a ride through multiple generations of Steels and Murphy and Malones. So strap in it’s going to be a bumpy ride and we haven’t even left the driveway kiddies !!!!

Where did Wendy go??? Cam she still reek havoc for the families at this stage of her life????
Brendan and Ava seem to have a great deal of love for each other. Will all the new information upset the life interest of this generation or will they be able to come together and end decades of pain and hurt from past history?
As this saga will soon end I sure hope it will.satisfy all the readers that have been reading this from the begining when Craving was first published.
I should hope the last book is long enough to see all the happy endings I am looking for with no questions left unanswered.

Secrets never go away! That’s what the Steel’s are finding out, they can’t outrun the past. Now, Ava and Brendan are right in the middle of it all, with mysterious messages and glimpses of their families’ backgrounds. The good thing is the the relationship between Ava and Brendan seem to be getting stronger, especially since being open and truthful are important to them. Hope it stays that way. It seems that the more the second generation of Steel’s learn, the more questions they have. Anxiously waiting the next installment!

Fortune by Helen Hardt is the story of Brendan and Ava. Ava is deeply disturbed by a series of cards she received on a reading. She’s very intuitive and can interpret the meanings very well. But, this one stumps her and is deeply upsetting. Brendan loves her and wants to help her deal with whatever demons she’s struggling with. But, there is something to all of this…slowly the truth is coming out…and it could change everything!
This was a good story that had lots of surprises, shocks, and tons of secrets!!! Enjoyable story!

Back and forth, up and down, love and lust, secrets and communication - this book has it all!! In the next installment of the Steel Brother's Saga, the reader gets to watch Ava and Brendan get closer and fall in love. No matter the gap in age or the secrets and lies that are revealed can tear them apart. But with every step they take to uncovering the truths more lies and deceptions from the past rear their ugly heads. Are we ever going to know everything?? A wonderful addition to the series.

Spoilers ahead, however I want to thank helen hardt and the group hardt and soul for the arc and allowing me to read this copy.
I am in pure shock. Just like the many strands of a spiders web everything connects to one point. And that point is Wendy madigan. Of course everything is revolving around her and she continues to mess with everyone. The steel kids definitely have a wild ride ahead and I’m wondering what the next shoe is to drop. But so far I can’t wait to find out more.
