The Deal by Karen Woods was another excellent book. Once I started to read it I was hooked, I ended up reading this book most of the day. It was full of twists and turns and very gritty!. This latest book by Karen will not disappoint and its a great book for a holiday read. I do find her books excellent and very addictive from start to finish.
I highly recommend this books and all of Karen's books.
Big thank you to NetGalley, Harper North and the author Karen Woods for my ARC of The Deal in exchange for an honest review.
What a great crime book, following one family ( the Taylors) and their deceit, lies, and fears. They live near the dreaded Tavistock square on a Manchester estate, where drugs are dealt, crime is committed and deals are made. Karen Woods certainly knows how to write a crime book and this one didn't disappoint. Full of everything you want in a book of this caliber. Another well-written thriller with twists and turns to make goosebumps go up on the back of your neck.
I thought this book was a really great read and hope that who ever reads this novel will enjoy it as much has me .I would recommend this this book .From start to finish I couldn't put this book down .Karen woods is a very good auther and I hope there could be a follow up.I rate this book 5 stars and hope you enjoy it .
Interesting read, but not one of her best. Got fed up with repetitive lines throughout the book …. “It is what it is” not as gripping as I expected hence 3 stars.
A very easy read. I enjoyed this book yet thought it seemed a little lacking of some of Karen’s usual ‘grit. A little slow to start with but the second half of the book ramped up and it became a great, interesting read. Some great characters that are relatable and as usual I love reading books that are set in and around places I know.
Wow, wow and wow, another amazing book by one of my favourite authors of all time, outstanding from the first page, I cannot wait until the next one comes out, one of the best books I have read in along time, roll on the next one AAA
