Lorelai Scott has been stuck in the same, hopeless situation for years. No more. She has to get the hell out of her hometown and start over. Her best friend, and drummer of From Angels to Devils, encourages her to drop out of university to pursue her dream of becoming a published author. Nothing stands in her way, except… she’s terrified! Turning her whole life upside down and moving from Toronto to Los Angeles is a big step, especially because of the trauma she carries with her.
From Angels to Devils is the hottest band in the world. The four British members have stolen everyone’s hearts, especially Harvey Jacob Thomas. Lorelai is no stranger to his charm, flirtatiousness, or sexy smirks, but, like him, she doesn’t want to be in a committed relationship. At least that’s what she thought before everything changed.
Bridget has done it again, there’s something about her writing that is so captivating I was instantly pulled into this book. This book is different to Bridget’s other books but I still loved this one. The characters were so unique and had their own characteristics and their personalities were all so different. Lo was a great character and she pulled me in, you feel for her with what is going on with her life and the struggles she deal with. The boys they were all fab and I love their little group and friendship dynamic. Harvey 🥵 that man wow… he has a dirty mouth… Harvey was so complex and wanted to keep lo at arms length but I’m so glad he didn’t, he has a lot of trust issues and seeing him slowly start to work through them he had great development. The ending!!! I wasn’t expecting it to go the way it did and the cliffhanger! Bridget imma need the next book asap.
Ahh this book was so good!! I wasn’t 100% sure what I would think about this book but I truly did enjoy it! And the ending oh my gosh, I certainly didn’t see it coming 🥲 what a cliffhanger.
I loved Lorelai sm. She was such a great friend to everyone and so badass. Idk I just loved her. And I felt for her so hard 🫶🏼
Harvey, omg Harvey. I cannot with this man. Tbh I didn’t love him at first, but as the story went on I started to like him more and more. He’s so attractive. I loved seeing Lorelai and Harvey’s relationship, slowly come together. You can tell they care for each other and would do anything for one another 💗
I loved the whole concept behind this book. Them being in a band, and her supporting them, ugh the sweetest!!! Definitely give this one a try!
"Six Blood years I've waited for you, Darling. Do you truly want me to go back to staring after you? To go back to this constant want to be with you, knowing I can't have you?"
One of the best books I have ever read. Full of passion, intensity, jealousy, and depth. This book will push you to explore your own relationships and take a deeper look at oneself. All of the unprocessed and unconscious trauma that each character experiences. This author truly takes an extensive look into each character. Highly recommend this book if you are a fan of music and are willing to explore your own relationships.
