Damian, a lovable hapless fool, makes a series of disastrous decisions – he loses everything. Of course, his father, who died thirty-three years ago, can’t help because he’s dead – or is he?
However, the dead really do walk amongst us – apparently. Terry and Deana return in their second riotous escapade as they attempt to help Terry’s son scramble out of a rather tricky situation – will they succeed and, at last, atone for their sins?
1984 – an event that changes the course of many lives. However, decades will pass before they know the truth – the catalyst for revenge thirty-three years later. 2016 – Damian Statham’s growing list of disasters leaves him swindled out of his business, dumped by his girlfriend, and now forced to rent a squalid flat in one of the country’s most notorious estates. With a violent drug dealer and a potty-mouthed prostitute for neighbours, can life get any worse? When Damian runs out of options to haul his life back on track, help arrives from the most unlikely of places – who is Courteney – because she’s certainly no angel. Can Terry save his son and thus find solace in the afterlife? Will that diva, Deana, persuade Terry to satisfy her womanly desires – or can he continue to resist her demonic demands?
Hello ... I'm a self-confessed time-travel fan. So, unsurprisingly, my books fit into the time-travel genre. My third book, Eye of Time, will be published in October 2021. Please drop onto my website for updates.
I would have given the book a 5 star review but for Adrian winning a bet on how many times he could use the word ‘Chuckled’ in the book. I know there were some funny moments for the characters here and there, but chuckled…. everything they thought or said something. If I’d got a fiver for every time I saw the word, I’d be a rich man. Or at least be able to go to a top notch restaurant for a slap up feed. Some of the story was in the gutter along with the characters. I’ll still read the next in the series though.
Pretty much the same as the previous book, two ghosts try to put right some wrongs. Deana incessantly asks Terry for sex; I got a bit weary with it in the end. A disappointing ending—I was looking forward to an intricate plan of revenge and got a cop-out, babe. Courteney was the only character that kept me going; otherwise, it would have been a DNF. I’m not sure whether I will read the next one; it’s getting a bit repetitive.
This is the second book in this series I’ve read, (I did quite enjoy the first book, ) I was enjoying this read until the character of the Courtney became more vocal… I don’t think the explicit language was necessary.. I found the author apologising for phrases and language used in earlier decades quite ironic given the disgusting language used by this character, I found her totally unbelievable and her behaviour in parts was just ridiculous, I won’t go into details as I don’t like spoilers, I am not prudish and do understand this is fiction but after reading this author’s time travel series, which is also a good read, I just don’t think it was necessary to develop this character in this way, the author, in my opinion has let himself down as he is a good story teller and doesn’t need to resort to this.
Having read the first instalment of Deana - Demon or Diva and really enjoying it I purchased this book. Sometimes when there are sequels they aren’t always as good as the first and to begin with I thought this was the case. However, as I carried on reading I started to enjoy it just as much as the first. I am now looking forward to the third book. I would highly recommend this book.
All of Mr. Cousin's books have been really enjoyable to read, providing a superbly written escape from reality, with a generous helping of humour along the way. A couple of nice twists and new characters, along with the smooth interlinking of other books, mean I'm now waiting for the new book....
Although enjoyable, it’s not nearly as good as the first one. The characters were just a bit too over the top—no one eats that much or that sloppily, plot was a bit too full of holes, and the resolution a bit too forced. Also the ending was pretty much nothing more than a hook to get you to read the next in the series.
Brilliant sequel! Already looking forward to the next. Fingers crossed that Kim, Vinny, Damian and Courteney will appear again, love their characters together with Terry and Deana.
Okay. Lots of fun in this second book of the series. A few surprises regarding Damians Mum and Dad, and yes, the surprises keep popping up right until the end. To say this publication is vulgar is a bit of an understatement as it surely is, but vulgarity at its finest. This is adult humour so if adult humour is not your thing don't bother reading it. I'm quite happy to award this book 5 stars.
This is another amazing tale of the ghostly pair - one back from the dead in another body and the other invisible being only seen by the first. Brilliant detail - complicated in parts - intertwines with other stories in the series. Love it !
Deana and Terry are back, this time to redeem their son, Damian, and to haunt many along the way. Damian is such a loser but is pulled along out of the gutter by his unlikely prostitute and porn star girlfriend. This book bexomes difficult to read at points, it's very vulgar but overall is a great second installment to the serues. I will be reading the third book wondering what's coming up.
Oh well a few more books to read, really enjoying the series so far and being late to the party I see there are more to read. What’s a good series with unanswered questions to make you read more.
I have really enjoyed this book very funny and an easy entertaining read.I have read three of Adrians books and am just about to download Dead Good which I'm sure I'll enjoy
I really enjoy all of Adriana books and love the character story lines. Loving the Terry and Deana stories. I first stumbled across the Jason Apsley series and loved them too. All the books are well worth a read!
I enjoy the Jasón Apsley series but do become confused as to how many versions of each character are floating around. This series is great with subtle mentions f the other books . Give Courtney her own series!
Really funny in places and very engaging. Terry and Deana’s antics are another hit. Very satisfying, easy read. A real page turner. Highly recommended xxx
