Reading this won’t do you any harm, the least you’ll get is a new view on the host of phrases you’ve grown up with and which may dictate your life choices.
For me this is a very well structured approach with 5 of the 6 phases having a base in science and common sense. The final phase costs you nothing but might work, so why not.
Go on, open your mind and see what happens.

Initially thought the author’s ego would irritate me, but quickly began to enjoy the themes in the book, particularly around compassion and gratitude. I’ll give the 6 Phase Meditation a go, but I have a feeling I’ll find it tough being an atheist (despite the author claiming it works for atheists too!)

I read this slowly over months, a little bit at a time before bed. All in all I think the techniques are very helpful. For me this isn’t necessarily for ‘meditation’ as much as it’s for relaxing before getting to sleep. These methods have really helped my noisy brain before bed. Some of the book was maybe a bit longer than it needed to be and there was a lot of info to take in, however I enjoyed reading it slowly

Habe die 94 Cent, die mich das Buch kostete, nicht bereut. Es war aber letztendlich doch ein bisschen seicht und mehr oder weniger Werbung für die App des Autoren.

I like the 6-phase meditation but this book adds very little value. It discusses meditation practice a way that isn’t nuanced or accurate. I also didn’t really enjoy the way it was written.

This book found me at a time when I needed direction on what to do next. I just felt like I had to read this first and it was like rain in a desert. The change was immediate from the first day. I felt calmer and at ease from the first lesson. This is the meditation that I need. I love the book and the accompanying course in Mindvalley. I feel like I am rambling a little bit. But bottom line, I cannot recommend this enough.
