Rate this book
As our confidence in Christ and His Word grows, we are strengthened to face life’s ongoing battles against anxiety and fear. Strength in the Struggle is an encouraging 10-lesson Bible study workbook for women about letting go of fear and anxiety. The world offers many solutions to manage and cope with these struggles, but what Jesus offers us is far greater. God’s Word has the power and authority to transform lives and give us strength in every battle. Strength in the Struggle was created to help readers cultivate a biblical understanding of anxiety and fear, trust in the power of the gospel as our ultimate hope, and learn to apply God’s Word in both thought and action. Each lesson focuses on a single memory verse within its historical and biblical context. It includes hand-lettered artwork to help with memorization, short commentaries that provide clarity, and thought-provoking questions for study and life application. In this study, readers will find strength in their struggles with fear and anxiety as their trust in Jesus and His promises deepen.

I wanted to love this study but I found it hard to connect with. Lots of bible reading, lots of memory verse, but I just had a hard time resonating with the content.

If you need a Bible Study dealing with anxiety that will help you grow in your faith and trust in God, this is a phenomenal resource. I loved the format of each week's lessons. The readings each week were manageable and the questions really helped me learn about the historical and biblical context of the scriptures and messages being presented. I walked through this with my mom and it was easy to talk through and share with each other. Would highly recommend for personal or group study.

I really wanted to love this Bible study… but I didn’t. I honestly did not learn much from it. I didn’t like the layout. I was hoping for more explanations of how to use the Bible for fear and anxiety, but it seemed to be mostly explaining my feelings.
I don’t know, this was just a miss for me.

While I wanted to love it, just couldn’t do it. I sat aside to try again later. And honestly had no desire to spend more time on it.

Used this book for a group bible study. Overall, I really liked it and would recommend as there were a lot of great discussion questions and talking points. My only criticism is that it was a bit repetitive at times. As someone who was raised Catholic, I never really read the bible or understood a lot of it because of how a typical Catholic mass is ran. I have always had a strong faith, but this study encouraged me to actually read the bible and grow in my faith with God.

I enjoyed this Bible study and I enjoyed it even more doing it with a sister in Christ! This study will be going to the collection of Bible Studies to recommend. The content provided a balance of both historical/Biblical context of where our "Fighting Verses" are found and great discussion questions for deeper understanding of study, self, and who God is.

Truly, this is a study not just for self, but also to do in a small group!

I’m writing this from the POV of a small group leader. I found this study to be repetitive and duplicative. I did very much enjoy the historical context and biblical implications. But when it came to discussing anxiety and fear I was often pulling from my own arsenal of knowledge to have varying conversations, and not from the study itself.

Through this study, I learned a lot of key scriptures that became lifelines for me. I loved getting to know some background as to where these key scriptures came from and find common ground on the circumstances that led up to it. Lots of great insight to overcome fear and trust God with anxiety.

Such a great Bible study with my girlfriends!! It was totally a blessing. Loved the layout of this study and that each week I learned a new memory verse. Love that it had historical content and biblical content. 10/10

This book was wonderful and helpful - more like a study book than a narrative, but made you answer some tough questions.

Would recommend for sure to anyone dealing with fear/anxiety and who wants a Biblical approach for it.

Not my normal Bible Study book, but thanks to discussions with my little sister, I gathered a lot of new perspectives. I didn't like how it skipped around or it added passages from other portions of the Bible, but overall, it was a good experience.

This was a fun Bible study. It's a lot of reading! But it was fun to dive deeper into the bible.❤️
