Sin Tempest has spent her adult life in the shadow of the tragedy that thrust her family into the spotlight in the worst possible way. After years spent in the protective circle of her siblings, she fell in love with the wrong man and was gradually sucked back into the same awful situation she’d endured as a child. As much as they tried, the Tempests couldn’t manage to break Sin free.

After years away from her family, tragedy strikes and they’re back by her side as they band together to escape the unwanted attention that has found them again. Old friends that are more like family come to the Tempests’ rescue once more, and Sin and her family find refuge in a place that’s almost too good to be true.

Now facing public scrutiny and trying to raise her little family on her own, Sin has to learn that the mistakes of her past don’t have to decide her future if she’ll just give love one more shot.

Blaze Westland ran from his small hometown to escape the expectations that were thrust on him after his father’s death. When his beloved grandfather falls ill, Blake is called home. After making a deal with his grandfather in exchange for a life saving surgery, Blaze settles into the role he was always meant to take.

Years ago, when he was still just a child, Blaze fell in love. Now, as an adult, he has the opportunity to make the dream he’d had years ago a reality, but he’s got to convince the woman he loves to take a chance on him.

4.5 stars.
So.
This was really more about Sin’s struggles and triumphs over not regressing back to her old life with her shitty husband.
I mainly say that because her and Blaze don’t really get a lot of time working on their relationship together, on page.
It’s struggle with her abusive husband for like 65% of the book, and then it’s settle into hiding from press and him, and then they just get together and like, the next page is the end of the book.(slight exaggeration, but whatever)

🤷🏻‍♀️
I liked it.
It was a good ending to the series.
I liked Blaze and Sin together. They’re pretty perfect for each other, and they have really good chemistry.
I just really wish we got more of their story on page, and that we got more than one spicy scene.
Otherwise, I can’t wait to read what Cee puts out next.
I’m still holding out hope for Hammer to get his own book. That man needs a partner in crime.

I fucking loved this one. It was amazing.
It was far more darker then I thought it was going to be but still absolutely amazing. I loved the end to this series. Sin gets the happy ever after she deserves.

I hate to see this series end. The Tempest were unique, from their upbringing, to how they all lived their lives as adults. With each book I read, I wanted to be someone they included in their inner circle, the chaos of their normal get togethers called to me.

I really hated how this one opened, hated how Sin was being treated and hated that she didn't see it, not even when her family talked to her about things. Then when things went from bad to worse for her, I loved that her family was there for her, all it took was that one call and they had her back 100%, even if they got dragged into a mess.

Blaze, his family and the community he was from brought an interesting aspect to this one. I liked that there was a long standing history of Blaze's family and community with the Tempests and that they tried to help when they could. I loved it more learning that Blaze was in love with Sin before he was 10 years old and that never went away. I really liked that when Sin and her kids needed a safe place he was able to provide it for her and all of the other Tempests too. By staying with Blaze, Sin got to see what she had been missing in her life, by having someone by your side that was there to help you, not cause you more work.

It was fun when Sin realized her feelings changed, funnier still when she called a war council with all of her siblings to talk about it, if she should be allowed to feel those feelings and what she should do about it. About the only thing that was better was the aftermath, both from Blaze and form the women in Sin's family.

I loved how this one ended, loved that we got to see Sin and Blaze living their lives happy, their kids thriving, their extended family all still around and everyone still giving everyone else grief, but all in love.

Before I read this one, I did a reread of this series and I still feel like I missed an entire series somewhere. I've read all the Rojo books but the village in the land their Father held, the hotel/spa, Clover's boyfriend and in this one there was another lawyer. You can follow the story... it's thin, very thin in plot but a quick fluffy read of a heavy topic that needed about 100 pages more. Not just what happened to Sin but even life in general was glossed over.

I've gotten tired of marking them all 2 stars when they are actually 2.5, so this one's a 3... just because.

Cee you never fail!!

This book was absolutely amazing!!! I feel you need to read the Texas Knight's, The Texas kings and the tempest in order to have a full understanding of what is going on with this book. Sure it can be a stand alone but you would get lost when it comes to Sin and Blaze's story. Sin is a nurse and the last of the tempest to be single and watching her family grow and fall in love. She find someone that lived a life like she did as a child but was slowly being pulled from her family. Blaze has been a family friend for years but he is also part of the Texas Kings. Something happens and he has to come home to responsibilities that he never wanted to shoulder but made a deal to 1 year staying in his home town and fulfilling his duties. Tragedy strikes and Sin's world is turned upside down. With the help of her family as well as Blaze’s family she is able to hold it together. Blaze has loved Sin since he was a child and wants to take a chance at a HEA. Sin has been living the last few years being isolated from everyone she knows and loves and hold feelings that make it hard on her to accept what Blaze has to offer her. Can she take another chance at love and hope for a better future or will fears and doubts cause her to throw it all away? Cee you're amazing and I can't wait for the second Gen books.

This is the 7th and final book in the Tempests series. We 1st met the Tempests in Cee Bowerman’s Texas Kings MC series: Fain (Book 12). The Tempests were raised in a cult-like MC by their father who thought he was a Norse god. This book is about Sin Tempest a nurse and loving sister and aunt. Sin was the last one to get married and thought she had found her other half. It turns out Troy was more like her father than she knew. Despite her family's objections, she tried to believe in Troy and work things out. Ultimately, Sin had to protect herself and her daughters. Just as she was about to do this Troy drops a bombshell and fallout was last thing Sin wanted. In order to protect Sin and her daughters, they move in with an old friend. Turns out this friend (Blaze Westland) has had a crush on Sin since he was a young boy. Blaze wants nothing more to show Sin what a true loving relationship is like and works hard to show Sin that she can get over her fear of opening herself up to another man and be happy and truly loved. If you are familiar with Cee’s Texas Kings MC series, there’s a chance to catch up with favorites and of course there is lots of laughs, after it is a Cee Bowerman book.

Cee writes stories of wonderfully strong women who meet and fall for strong, protective alpha males and this one is no exception.

A definite must read book and series!

Although I'm sad to see this series end, this was the perfect ending for this amazing series. It was a definite emotional roller-coaster of a story that will cause a wide variety of feelings, but hasn't that been the case for the entire series?!? (which just made it even more intriguing!) This was a unique series that will certainly hook you right from the start, and of course leave you wanting so much more! A definite must read series!!
I'm sure that many of you have already read most, if not all, of this author's books, but for those who haven't, I would highly recommend that you do. You can either check out the authors recommended reading order on her website (listed in the beginning of the books), start with the Texas Knights MC series, or read them by their release dates. Almost all of her series include character crossover between them, which gives you even more of your favorite characters (and YES, there will be a lot!!). They're all absolutely fantastic stories, and you definitely won't be disappointed.
I would definitely recommend this book, series, and exceptional author.

I am sooo looking forward to reading the next generation series for this series, and hopefully there will be next generation series for the others too!! Can't wait!

Can always count on Cee for a good read

The fantastic book by Cee.
Sin's story didn't go how I thought it would, in fact what she wrote was 100 x better than anything I could have imagined.

Sin is no stranger to hard work, tasked with caring for her daughters, and looking after the house and land her her husband owns, but there is one thing she feels down to the bone and that is loneliness.

Sin thought she had everything the land and husband and the daughters to go with it but little did she know that her husband wasn't the man thought he was. Sin's world turned upside down and she is now learning to walk on her feet again and learn to lean on the very people that she had pushed away now with 4 children under under the age of 5 she is learning to live again.

Blaze is is sweet and caring and a perfect partner for Sin.
Blaze has loved Sin Tempest since he was 10 years old, and now she is back, living under his Grandfather's roof and now he finally has the opportunity to win the woman loves.

Again another great book from the wonderful mingled of Cee Bowerman.

Not as dark as I was expecting.

Familial connections can either be the best or the worst thing. Now, those connections aren't always made by blood. Family is a word that means so much to many and nothing to some.

Sin knew what life was like with an abusive father. She knew that she did not want that life nor did she want to bring life into a home like that. Unfortunately, she got to a place mentally that let her fall into the life her own mother lived. Once she opened her mind and soul up, she found that there was so much more going on in her marriage than she imagined.

Blaze fell in love with Sin at a very young age. Life and years kept them apart, until the time came for him to see his Sunshine again.

A traumatic birthing experience can play a bigger tole on the mother than people can understand. Not all births are the same.

Sin got her well deserved HEA

Sin is a brave and strong woman. Unfortunately for her, she came full circle with her past marrying a man like her father. How many women would step up and help a victim while she is a victim her self and realing with the shock. She was compassionate and helped Elizabeth. She took over and adopted and raised Elizabeth's twins. She also checked in to make sure Elizabeth was do well. Blaze is a stand up man and was raised with love. He took over his grandfather's roll not willingly. In the end it's where he is ment to be and got Sin the woman he always loved. The two together are a strong and loving force. I am sorry to see this series end, as with all of Cee's collection of series. She doesn't disappoint at all. I end up looking forward to her new series, and get hooked on them.

Crush

I was sad when I started this read the family I have enjoyed from start to finish. MS Bowerman can draw you in and make you cry and laugh and fall in love over and over. Sin has always fascinated me from the beginning back when I read Fain and Jenna's book. It takes great talent to put together the family and their journey into words I loved every up a down of this book she brought to life a story about a family devastated by tragedy to one of love and support. I fell in love with Blaze when he helped Sin name the twins it always surprises me when she comes up with the perfect hero for each girl. If there was anything negative its just the last book I'm bummed its over!

Fantastic finish.

I have read all the books in this series and that is a must for this book. Sin is the final sibling to have her story. The way her story kept circling back to their upbringing was very good. The insight into the thinking and dynamics of that lifestyle and how some crave it while others try to distance themselves as far as possible. Loved that Sin and Blaze had a history and we got to see their relationship progress through all the stages. The children and the trials of parenting are always a good time with this author. Loved all the scenes with previous characters and updates on their lives and thrilled the bad guy got it bad! Hooray. Definitely recommend and will be a repeatedly read series for me. Five stars!

Abuse if any kind is horrible

Sin felt that she had no other choice when it came to her life with Troy and the kids. Her sibling finally convince her what he has been doing is mental and psychological abuse. When she prepares herself and the kids that it’s time to move on where her siblings can help her through all of her anger and sadness Troy brings an alternative life to her one where she is to take care of his other women and children like his father before him. Finding a way out with his captive and making sure she and the woman couldn’t be found comes with a promise of forever love for her ever extending family. Love finds it’s way into her heart again with Blaze. Love the Tempest and Sun is one of the strongest.

I really liked Sin's story even though it started out so heartbreaking. This was quite different from the other stories in this series, but it was very well done. This story is heavy on the healing and gentle love Sin experiences while she finds her way back to herself. There's not a lot of romance or steam until nearly 65% in. But I want to stress that there is swooning love throughout the story.

I'm sad to see this series wrap up. (The first in this series was my first book by this author and I quickly became obsessed with her storytelling.) I highly recommend this series, and others by this author, if you are looking for strong family bonds, laugh out loud moments, and steamy scenes all rolled in to amazing stories.

Sin is Book 7 in The Tempests series written by the talented and amazing author Cee Bowerman. This is Sin and Blaze story. I was looking forward to read Sin's story and Mrs. Bowerman didn't disappoint.
It was an overwhelming roller-coaster of emotions with a heartwarming final. The author did a very outstanding job with this one, sad it is the last book in an amazing series. It can be a stand alone book but you would not get the whole experience from this awesome characters. I'll suggest reading all the Texas King MC series in order to understand what is going on with this amazing family, because the stories at some point intertwines with their lives. The plot is deep, a bit dark and full of hope, trust, loyalty, family values, second chances and a beautiful romance.

The Tempest!

I read all the siblings stories which in itself they were all got to me in some way! I laughed, suffered and cried along all of them. Reading Sin's story gave closure to the Tempest saga. Loved every one of their stories. I was captivated by how Sin was portrayed as a woman who was tricked by her husband to live like when she lived with her father, and then became an independent woman who was able to see life for what it is. Great writing on different issues that some families live through regardless of social status. Love the way the siblings and their families stand united. I can also say I empathize with Sin because sometimes we are tricked into living that kind of life.
Gee Bowerman became one of my favorite authors!

I can't believe it's over

Blaze and sins book is born of Tragedy the first few chapters are full of different emotions 😢 but as the book goes on you see how a family can get through anything together and then in true cee Bowerman storytelling the serious stuff still has humour to it we also have the much love Rojo family popping up in this great book I'm sad the series is over and can't wait for Marcus and Reagan book which means more tempest interaction and rojo people but then the 2nd generation starts if you are looking for a new author then look no further read all of cee books you will not be disappointed

This was a bittersweet read. The Tempests are an amazing bunch, I'm glad they will still show up in future books. When I started Sin's book, my heart was literally in my throat. I was so scared for her, on the edge of my seat that something really awful would occur before she could get away. She has a lot to unpack, to work through. Her family rallies around her, not hesitating to be there even though she had kept them at a distance. When Blaze comes back into her life, I was over the moon. This man is so wonderful, I couldn't help but adore him from the very start. Watching them build a life together was magic, pure unadulterated magic! All the stars, forever for this book and this series!

Sin

I am sad to see the end of the Tempest series. I marvel at the mind of Cee Bowerman . All her characters are special but I have been caught up in the Tempests since I read Fain. I think Sin and Blaze are perfect together. Blaze just has so much love to give and Sin needed that love so much. Sometimes we find ourselves with someone who we think we love only to find out later that its out of loneliness that we make those choices. Life is so much better and easier if we can find someone who can connect with out soul. Thankfully Blaze knew Sin was his HEA at an early age.

Goodbye for now Tempests. I look forward to catching up in future novels.

I have never read an author that blends family together so perfectly and beautifully. This book was frustrating, heart breaking, scary, heartbreaking again, then uplifting and ending on unbelievable sweetness. Those emotions are all underlined by a ferocious need to see Sin win, see this family once again survive and thrive, to watch these wonderfully real people champion over a horror that keeps cutting at them no matter how much time goes by and yet they laugh and love out loud and proud. It won’t end here for me, re-reading over and over until the next generation is ready will keep me enthralled.

perfect ending to series

I so enjoyed this one. I had no idea I would be reading the whole book in one sitting. But when I get so immersed into the characters, I forget time. This is an excellent story and the perfect ending to the series.

It has lots of drama and angst amidst the Tempest clan. And lots of good times to counterbalance the things the characters go through. It touches on irrational control and misguided beliefs and thankfully this is handled well by the author. This is a very good read and I highly recommend this book and the series.

So Sad but so happy

I have loved the Tempest series. Everyone of them have shown us the power of self. Sin was always my fav of the girls. To see her come thru ths darkness to the "sunshine" on the other side was an emotional ride for sure. Tears and anger to tears and laughing and smiles. Loved them all. Blaze was always a quiet in the back of the story guy. Glad to finally get his story. An AMAZING story to end the series with. Cee Bowerman you hit this series out of the park. As always.

WOWZA!!

This is definitely not the direction I saw Sin's book going but I can say it was amazing. It was gut wrenching seeing Sin go through what she did after knowing how she grew up. In true Tempest fashion they were all there just waiting for her to ask for help with arms wide open. Blaze was a wonderful man so caring and patient just going at Sin's pace and never blinking an eye at raising the twins or the girls. This has been one of the best series I'm sad to see it end but so excited for the next generation where we will definitely see more of this wonderful family!!

So, so good!

This book is a bit bittersweet as it marks the end of the Tempest series, at least for the first generation. Cee delivered an emotional knockout while still delivering plenty of her trademark humor. I'd caution you to avoid reading in public as you will have bouts of ugly crying and maniacal laughter.

You can't go wrong with any of Cee's books, each is better than the last, and I highly recommend any and all of them!

Blaze & Sin

This was not the story that I was expecting for Sin, but it was obviously the story that Sin had to live to get to the good stuff. It started off absolutely heartbreaking, knowing how close all the Tempests have always been. I absolutely adore Blaze and could see right from the start that he was the right guy for her. Every Cee Bowerman book is better than the last. It just makes me want to go back and reread all of them from the beginning. SO GOOD!

Thru all the bad things that have happened to the Tempest family, i think this one broke my heart a little worse than the others. Sin has to go thru the darkness to find the light that Blaze makes at the other end. No matter the family bonds of blood or choice, somethings hurt more than others. i loved the book and i am sorry to see the Tempest series end. but Cee is amazing and will make more awesomeness!

Great ending to this series

This book had my emotions in a tailspin. I had no idea this was where Sin’s book would take us, and although it was a rough ride, there was so much beauty in it. I absolutely loved Blaze and the way he loved those closest to him. He and Sin reconnecting was needed and made this story excellent. I’m sad for this series to end, but the next generation is on its way, and I can’t wait!

Suchs a bitter sweet feeling knowing the Tempest series ended. I’m beyond happy that Sins book took this turn in events. I absolutely loved it!!

As much as it was hard to read about What was going on with Sin And her family. It solidified how the family would do anything for each other no matter what. & that they will love and accept any children that come into their lives. Can’t wait for the next Cee Bowerman book.

Beautiful

It's always so hard when a series ends. But this was the most beautiful ending that I could have wished for for this series. They have kept me on my toes throughout the whole series and continued to do so with this book. I did not know that I could fall even more in love with the tempests then I already had but I fell even more while reading this book. It made me laugh it made me cry.

Sin’s story

Wow, where to start, this story covers it all. Sin finds her happy ever after…of does she? She falls for Troy but her family, the Tempests, aren’t sure of him. Sin finds her husband difficult, his behaviour isn’t normal and she’s left alone with her two small children a lot. Then one day things come to a head.
It’s a really good story and in parts quite difficult to read as you realise what’s happening but there is a HEA
