Success in leadership doesn’t come through the self; it comes from dependence on Christ.
When was the last time you considered what it means to be pro-life? With over twenty-five years of pastoral experience, Rev. Dr. Joddi-Jay Chin Babcock presents a compelling argument for the philosophy behind the pro-life movement that focuses on saving and serving both women and babies. Keep the Light On explores the modern-day Pregnancy Help Movement and describes the philosophy of those who believe in the sanctity of life from conception. Rather than taking a political stance, this guide examines the state of the Church, looks at servant leadership in action, and challenges believers to shine for Jesus rather than conforming to the world.
If you believe Jesus is calling you to serve in this vital matter of life and death within your community, this book can help you shape your love for God into loving action.
I appreciated the openness Joddi-Jay used in her life illustrations relating to the topic. I felt like I could trust her knowledge and experience because of all the hard experiences she’s faced head on. It was a hopeful, faith filled essay and well thought through in how to lead well. Though these are lessons specifically from the pregnancy help movement, they can be applied to any leader.
