Hem is a sewing-talent fairy. So when Queen Clarion announces that there's going to be a ball in Pixie Hollow, Hem becomes very busy making beautiful new dresses for all her friends. Rosetta wants a red rose-petal dress. Lily wants an orange tiger-lily dress. And Tink wants a dress made out of daffodils. But when Hem finishes all the other fairies' dresses, she realizes that she has nothing to wear herself!
Fairies fans will love this all-new Step 4 reader, starring all of their favorite Disney fairies.
Another from the kid's book haul. This one was so much fun! I loved meeting a new character and seeing familiar faces. The illustrations in this book were beautiful! Seeing all of the different styles of dresses she made for each of her friends was cool!
This is a very cute book with lots of really vibrant illustrations. This book would be great for readers who are ready to move beyond the typical picture book and into a transition before chapter books. I would recommend this book for children who are in grades 2-3 because of the complexity of the paragraphs and the level of vocabulary.
I love the fairy flower dresses. Bess’s was my favorite, I wish we could’ve seen more of it. Beck’s is kinda terrible lol I don’t really like the sleeves on Hem’s but the rest of it is really pretty.
Madam and I enjoyed this one together and had a good discussion afterwards, which was surprising to me! Who knew that a Tinkerbell book who lead to such deep thoughts on self-sacrifice, using your gifts/talents, helping friends no matter what, creativity, etc.? Impressive!
One of the few step fours we have read. I like Tinkerbell stories since she has a better story than just being a princess. This story doesn't focus on Tink, but rather a fairy who sows. Its a lesson in learning to say no, rather than make everyone happy.
Of the 'learn to read' books this one at least had a story. Its sad how awful they make these books. This one was okay. It was long and boring, but readable.
