“Fine! Whatever! It’s a good book and people should buy it! Now will you untie me!?” – Andy Weir (New York Times bestselling author of The Martian and Project Hail Mary)

When wicked men commit evil deeds, hidden in shadows and under cover of night…
It falls to the monsters who dwell in the darkness, to drag the wicked into the light.

Deville is a cowboy, and a vampire, and an ornery son of a bitch. He thrives on vengeance and blood. The West may be old and wild, but Deville is older and wilder.

Adam is a simple man, or once was, and he lives every day in pursuit of that humanity. Not just for himself, but for all he holds dear, and all he stands to lose.

HIGH MOON IS NOT A WESTERN.

HIGH MOON is a lit fuse headed toward a powder keg.
A freight train with no brakes.
It's that feeling in your gut when you leap from the highest branch of the tallest tree.

There will be blood. Lots of it.

If Quintin Tarantino and Mel Brooks had a love child, I imagine the result would be this book. It’s filled with absurd, slapstick humor and lots of gore and violence, reminiscent of Spaghetti Westerns. As it just so happens that those men are amongst my favorite film creators, OF COURSE I LOVED THIS BOOK!

This book is an interesting take on classic monsters placed in the time and space of the rustic Wild Wild West, complete with cowboys and Indians. I laughed SO MUCH. And SO HARD. I appreciated the jovial pokes at history and folklore. This was such a fun read. If you don’t read it, you’re certainly missing out.

Looking for a new book with a one of kind story? Well you have found it. While it may seem like a western at first glance, the pages will take you on a far deeper journey, full of twists and thrills laced with the perfect balance of adventure and romance. The characters are painted beautifully through words, each one easier to fall in love with than the last. Seriously folks, this is a book worth reading, and I look forward to the next from this author!

I absolutely loved this book! I’m obsessed with horror and comedy and this had both, with some brilliantly fresh takes on some classic monsters. There’s also plenty of action and a little romance. It really has everything, all while telling a compelling story where you care deeply for the characters. Must read!

An absolutely phenomenal book, with the perfect blend of humor, action, and mystery. I was hooked immediately and couldn't put it down; each surprise and turn was even better than the last. I would give it 100/5 if I could
