Very cute little love story! The world needs more Wills! Pauls need to be obliterated from the face of the planet and if you see a Madeline coming towards you, grab your wooden stake!
This is a very light and fluffy book that, while predictable, is endearing. I've found that recently contemporary romance and chick lit have caused me to have a generally negative attitude about relationships, about the frequency of affairs and the undesirable (to me) "perfect" relationships. This book actually was uplifting and made me feel more loving and solid in my own relationship to my partner. It made me grateful for the person he is. So, while the story is a little trite and can basically be scripted by just reading the back cover, it was well worth the read because of the positive attitude toward love that I was left feeling.
Having said all that, the ending requires deep suspension of belief (hello, she didn't know who he is?). Elaine, though wonderful is also a little unbelievable as well.
I quite liked this book. The premises behind it were nice and sweet. The story itself was quite sweet, if you disregarded the cheating fiance and the manipulative parents. But they too had a part to play in the awakening of Tess Sommerville. And Will Tremere, British hunk extraordinaire, was just what she needed. In fact he's sort of what I think we'd all imagine out perfect guy yo be like; kind, caring, considerate, hot, and kind to animals. Lol. :)
But the best thing about this book is that it's a romance with a message, nothing to deep or dark, but it's extremely well written, making the book very enjoyable.
I actually really enjoyed this book, more than I was expecting to. I loved the characters, especially Will, he was adorable. The groom and stepmother were like pantomime people and came across as rather silly and laughable but it entertained me throughout. I can't pinpoint why I liked it so much, I guess it just worked for me, the story, characters and writing. I thoroughly enjoyed the road trip aspect of the book because I did a similar trip on a visit to USA going to some of the same places so it was nice to remember that. Definitely a 5☆ book.
what kim and brooke did for tess reminde me of my own friends, i was glad that the dogs were incorporated all throuought instead of just once. Tess really stood up for herself when meeting paul(who was a complete sexist pig) and in that instant we saw her finally realize how will felt fo her and how she felt for him.it was a great ending with a hapily ever after <3

Definitely not a favorite. The book was muddled and filled with annoying, unnecessary plot points. The author threw things in there to create conflict that wasn't needed. A huge disappointment for sure.
i wouldn't say i hated the book, but it feels to chaotic and unnecessarily with the mother and the evil fiance and shit and the fortune teller thing. Seems too much? But it was overall a light-heart read and definitely fluffy.
Sexy and fun read! HUGE twists and turns, a soon to be husband cheats on the night before his wedding! BUT, it turns out to be good and romantic...nonetheless! Suspensful
