When Lacey arrives, Travis is intrigued by the literary editor but doesn’t have time for amateur detectives. When a friend of Lacey’s is accused of murder, Travis must decide if it is worth listening to Lacey’s theories or if he should work on the case alone.

Things are heating up in Harmony Cove as Lacey, her brother and her friends investigate the horrible things happening in their town.

It’s edge-of-your seat reading in book #3 of this exciting series. Amy Rafferty does an excellent job of creating drama and realistic characters. Make sure to start this series from book #1 to truly enjoy it.

Another good book by Amy Rafferty. Waiting for book 4. Love the mystery side of her writing

We know who the murder victim is and who is arrested for the murder but why? Lacey is around as everything is going down. Her brother sends her to his office below the bookshop telling her she'll find what she needs there to help her investigation. While there with Gill, the mayor's daughter, they start to figure out what happened 27 years ago that is affecting the town now. It does not help that every person is only initials from that time. It's up to Lacey and Gill to figure out who belongs to each set of initials. But how does the past figure into today?

I am liking this. I still have a lot of questions I want answered and now I have to wait for the next installment to come out. Fortunately, it comes tomorrow. I like that Lacey's brothers do not leave her too unsupervised, but she still manages to be in the middle of trouble. I like her loyalty to the townspeople whom she knows. Travis is going to have to keep one step ahead of her, but he has his own problems to handle with the murder investigation and other events in town.

I'm staying tuned to see what happens next.

Lacey finds Mark and Julia over Walter's body with blood on them in the office. Mark was holding a bookend with blood on it in his hand and was frozen with shock. There seemed to be someone after some thing at Byron's house. Luke, Lacey's older brother had come down and was working on the case. There is a lot of suspense and excitement. There was a mystery that had happened long ago and Lacey with the help of Gill was trying to solve it. It is fast pace and full of action wanting you to read more. A Great Read. I am on the ARC term and I leave a honest review. I recommend this book to other readers.

There have been two murders and a kidnapping in Harmony Cove in one day. Janet Byers and Walter Henning are killed and Walter’s mother is kidnapped. The Henning family ask Lacey and Byron to look into the kidnapping. This book grabs you from the first and takes you on a wild ride, you can’t help but keep reading. Amy Rafferty is such a great storyteller, you can’t go wrong with her books.

I could not put this book down! The excitement and mystery around Walter's murder continued to escalate in book three. I have more questions and very few answers which I like because that makes me look forward to the next book, as I try to put all of the clues together. It was definitely a heart pounding book. The end was very interesting. I received an advance copy of this book and I willingly chose to write an honest review.

Trouble is brewing in Harmony Cove. Is Perfect Properties behind the issues. The residents have had trouble. Threats, attacks, a kidnapping and unsolved mysteries to name a few. Lots of characters and lots of action.

Lacey is determined to get to the bottom of the strange happenings. Mark is a suspect. Byron has a strange suspect board. What does it all mean? Even Lacey’s brother Luke shows up as an investigator

Walter is dead and Mark is holding the blood spattered book-end in his hand. "Walter fell and shoved this at me." "He wasn't making any sense." He repeated it again and said, "He apologized to you Lacey." I couldn't call 911 cause the phones weren't working.

What is going on?
Where is Amy taking us on this crazy journey?

Another action packed book in a fabulous series. The intrigue and mystery keep building as more challenges arise and events occur. Absolutely impossible to predict what will happen next or who is guilty of murder and kidnapping. A book that is impossible to put down!

Just finished book 3 of the Charming Bookshop Mysteries. Wow!!! This series is so exciting. So much is happening. Lacey is something else. I just love her. Anyone who loves a good mystery will definitely fall in love with this series. Way to go, Amy. You never let your readers down
