Brett Jackson is captain of the baseball team. He puts up a good front, but really wants nothing to do with girl drama. He and his friends Max and Dresden are 18 year old Seniors in high school.
Elsie Carpenter is best friends with Kayla Jackson, Brett’s younger sister. She just moved back to town. Her parents are separated. He dad is in the city. He cheated on Elsie’s mom with his secretary. Elsie’s mother is back in Riverside. Elsie is a Junior at the high school. Elsie has always had a crush on Brett.
They each have a plan for their future. Elsie wants a singing career. She is working on a showcase for the school talent show. She also wants to submit an entry to the producers of American Superstar. Brett does not want to go to college or play baseball anymore. He wants to be a tattoo artist. He has been an apprentice for Tatt Life.
Can each of them pursue their dreams and make them come true? Will Elsie be able to stay away from Brett so her friendship with Kayla is not ruined?
