I ATE THIS BOOK UP! Holy wow!

Orin and Fallons book was so good! I loved every bit of it! We get Orin ‘the reaper’ being the badass mafia man who stumbled into Fallons life and helps her after she kills a rival mafia families brother.

I love that even though Fallon isn’t used to this life even though her brother is apart of the mafia she is still so head strong and resilient!

Orin and Fallon go through so much in this book and I love that they get their HEA in the end because they honestly both deserved it!

I received an ARC of this book but this is my honest review and opinion.

This is the second book in the series. The first one was great but this one HOLY FUCKING SHIT it just got so much better!! I loved this book!

Forbidden Irish mafia clan members younger sister and jealous over the top anti-hero whose dark and is very over protective 🥵🥵🥵

Fallon and Orin both have dark pasta that have shaped them into who they are now. I honestly loved their chemistry from the beginning their chemistry had me hooked, it’s instant attraction and lust but slow burn for the spicy action to take place.

But oh my god the spicy scenes in this book 🥵🥵🥵 Hotter, sexier and a lot more kinks! This book had me blushing, the degradation kink got me good 🥵🥵🥵🔥🔥🔥

This book is a lot darker than the first one in my opinion so definitely check the trigger warnings before reading, but I definitely recommend this book and this series Kally Ash has done a fantastic job and I honestly can’t wait for the next book in the series to come out!!

AMAZING

I love a good Mafia story with heart. Fallon and Orin were amazing together. They literally were a modern day Mr and Mrs Smith. Lol

Both Fallon and Orin were overcoming horrific pasts and both continued to fight keeping their demons at bay. Fallon was still on the path of keeping her sobriety, due to an addiction she developed while trying to deal with her traumatic past. Whereas Orin took pleasure in dishing out pain. With an aversion to human touch Orin was as prickly as they came which made his job as The Mac Tíre Clans Reaper satisfying

The thing I loved about Fallon's character is the fact she was no damsel in distress. With her brother Grayson being the former Warlord of the Mac Tíre Clan she learned to be self reliant, scrappy, resilient and resourceful. Due to her past ordeal Fallon was very observant and knew how to escape a sticky situation.

Orin brought death literally to Fallon's door on the evening he was shot. Thinking he would find Grayson only to remember Grayson was on his honeymoon. This was the evening that served as a catalyst for Orin and Fallon's relationship.

Studying to be a nurse Fallon didn't hesitate to jump into action to save Orin. As a result she was thrown into his world forever leaving her normal life behind.

Orin was full of darkness and enjoyed the pain he inflicted on his victims but there was something about Fallon that resonated with something deep within him. No matter how much he tried to resist her, he couldn't stay away.

Together these two were Raw, Intense, Violent and riddled with a Consuming Passion that Orin desperately tried to ignore. Fallon was the Bonnie to Orin's Clyde. She wasn't a violent person but she could make a k3ll shot just as well as a trained assassin.

This story went from 0 to 100 within the 1st few chapters of the book and it kept moving full steam ahead without any reprieve. If you want a Mafia story that is fast paced and full of heart pounding, adrenaline fueled Action, Violence and Steam look no further.

This book was so good!! There was not a dull moment with Fallon and Orin! I was hooked from the very beginning and begging them to give it a try! It felt like a mafia version of beauty and the beast where in the end he is willing to stay a beast or in Orin's case feel hollow and empty inside as long as Fallon was happy and safe. Not realizing she means it when she says she wants to be with him as is darkness and all. Orin is the literal embodiment of that Tiktok spoken word poetry "Why I like the villain more" by @its_.sam.03 They both had such traumatic pasts they were long due to finding happiness. At the mention of a past, I thought oh a second chance romance how cute! And after finding out about their pasts it felt like they truly deserved happiness because that was so fucked up it felt wrong to think of it as a second chance. And the best part of the series and for what's to come is that while all books seem to be standalones they are all in the same world and timeline and you get to see glimpses of the other characters of previous books.

It’s time for Orin and Fallon’s story! And let me tell you, it didn’t disappoint. I absolutely loved the push and pull between these two. The fact they had both been through something as teenagers that had affected them so greatly was something I truly adored. It bonded them in a way that wouldn’t have happened with someone who hadn’t experienced that kind of hurt before.

The mafia aspect of this book was once again on point, there was blood and violence in perfect amounts. Or in is incredibly jealous and possessive, even when he thinks he has no right to be. As is Fallon in her own way. The spice level in this book was a little lower than book one, but there are some bdsm elements in this one that felt hotter at times.

All in all, five stars for this one. And I cannot wait to see Keir’s story next!

WOW!!! This book is gooooood! I read it way to fast!

Orin is the reaper for the Mac Tire Clan, he is their killer. When he gets injured he goes to Fallon, sister of another member and she is studying to be a nurse. When the man who wants Orin dead tracks him to Fallon, that is when everything changes. Fallon kills another clan's member to protect Orin, now they want her dead.

Orin does not feel, he had a rough up-bringing and only knows pain. He doesn't feel anything, but soon he starts to feel protectiveness over Fallon, then he starts to feel more and can't get her out of his head. Fallon has something traumatic happened to her, but for some reason Orin is the first man that she does not fear. Now they both have to survive, and get over their pasts to be together.

Heads up, this is a dark romance. Some things can be triggering. Also, Orin sleeps with another woman, nothing has happened with Fallon but you know that something is brewing. I didn't like it, but it makes sense why he does it.

Kally Ash just gets better and better! This was the third book of hers and I've fallen more in love with her writing each time. I absolutely devoured this book and finished it in one evening.

The Reaper is action packed from start to finish and will definitely tug on your emotions and make you want to hurt the people who hurt Orin and Fallon.

Orin and Fallon both have a dark and tragic past which I think helps them to understand each other and respect each other's boundaries although occasionally you'll want Orin to wake up and see the chance of happiness that's in front of him. The trust and bond that develops between them is beautiful.

Orin definitely captures who heart with his mission to remain cold and empty inside despite Fallon awakening feelings that he long thought were dead. His backstory is so heartbreakingly tragic and without giving spoilers there are enough scattered clues throughout the story to guess what happened and want to make you go to war to protect him from ever experiencing pain again.

I went in blind to who and what this story was about. I just knew that is Kally Ash wrote it, I was going to read it. I absolutely loved Grayson and Sloane’s book so I knew I would devour whomever Ash was writing about next. And boy did I ever. I inhaled everything that Orin and Fallon gave me.

The romance was the slowest of slowburns. And for once, I was ok with it. Because before he fell fully and allowed himself to ruin Fallon with what he believed to be his heinous touch, I saw what it could be like to be with this man. Scenes of debauchery and delicious forbiddenness snuck in here and there, to the point that I needed to be ruined by this man.

The Reaper was overall just a great, great story. I want to to say a million things about it, but instead I sit here stumped for what to say. My thoughts all over the place. I cannot wait to get my hands on Keir’s book. It sounds like it will be messy as ever. Exactly par for the course with this series. 5 Stars.

Raw. Dark. Intense. Everything I didn’t know I needed. Orin and Fallon’s story pulled me in right from the start, I didn’t put the book down until I was finished. Orin and Fallon are both dealing with past’s that broke my heart. They are learning to cope and deal the best way they know how. Orin shows up at Fallon’s door step thinking Grayson will be there, but forgets he’s gone, instead what he gets is Fallon and a whole lot more than he bargained for. They both save each other in more ways than one - for two people who normally don’t like to be around others or touched for past reasons, they seem to be drawn to one another - as much as they may try and fight it. While they’re trying to stay safe and avoid danger Orin doesn’t want Fallon in his darkness, but she may be his light.

Orin and Fallon forbidden but oh so good and an Irish accent on top of it SWOON!!! I really love this series Kally has made I love everything Irish mafia and this book does not disappoint. The action, the love, the spice absolutely delicious!! This book is on the darker side (so check your triggers ladies) but for me the dark the better I couldn’t get enough of Orin possessiveness and the back and forth between him and Fallon OMG so good so you will have to check it out for yourself!!

You might want to make sure to double check that you are buckled up, dangerous men, alpha’s personified, possessive, oh, gorgeous, brooding all the makings of a story consisting with three D’s (dark, delicious, and dirty) 😊. There will be suspense, betrayal, death, darkness, secrets reveled, violence, hope, forgiveness, and maybe even love along the way. Fallon and Orin both went through something so traumatic as teenagers that it affected their adulthood. Fallon is studying to become a nurse, becoming really good at it despite knowing who and what her brother does when his friend shows up hurt in need, of course she saves him. Orin sexy as all get out hitman for his clan as he puts it isn’t a man you want with your name or on your radar he is dangerous, ruthless on a good day, extremely deadly most never see him coming until it is too late and he has an aversion to human touch one very prickly grump who will never fall in love not because he doesn’t want love but because of the darkness he brings. So the night he needs help he knocks on her front door forgetting her brother is on his honeymoon but she helps him, saving him the magnetic pull couldn’t be ignored the more time they spent around one another the closer they grew but Orin was determined to keep her at a distance, and Fallon was determined to be with him but will they come to some type of common ground, she may be a nurse but her abilities handling a weapon like a trained assassin due to childhood traumas, will he see that what they have isn’t something to fear it is in everyone but it doesn’t have to break them, will he accept what she is offering, will he admit what he is feeling, and can they find happiness together their way?

Irish Mafia

3.5 stars, but the spice didn’t deliver like in Little Bird.

The Reaper ended up being better than expected. I was a little let down with The Warlord, so this one definitely made up for it. I really enjoyed the slow burn compared to other books I’ve read from Kally, but unfortunately had a couple issues with the story.


Spoiler Alert 🚨

I did not, I say did not appreciate all the sexual chemistry build up between Orin and Fallon throughout the first part of the book only for him to go have sex with someone else almost half way through the book. I was not ok with that. It almost felt like cheating even though I know they weren’t together and to top it off Fallon was like whatever I still want to have sex with you. Like WTF!

My second issue with this story is the trauma they both carry and how each of them was dealing with it. Fallon was ganged raped and then ended up with a drug addiction. And I never felt like I got the sense of how that impacted her like Orin being repeatedly raped by his adopted step mom. Like the whole book that defined him, but Fallon being ganged rapped (and a recovering addict) not so much (I know she did therapy, but c’mon). I know each individual handles trauma differently, but it was just odd how more impacted Orin seemed by his trauma than Fallon.

Even with the two issues above I still recommend if you love a good mafia book.

I love a good mafia romance and I loved every second of this one. Welcome to the Mac Tire Irish Clan.

Orin is the clans reaper, a term I hadn’t heard before reading this book. He is there death squad, party of 1. Orin does not like to be touched in anyway from anyone until a near death experience brought him to Fallon’s doorstep, literally on the brink of death. Not to mention someone driving by shooting while he is dying in front of her door.

Fallon is another clan members little sister. And off limits to the clan as she isn’t a member and her brother Grayson would kill anyone who touched her. She is studying to be a nurse so when Orin shows up she patches him up the best she can.

Some other stuff happens during this time too but k don’t want to give too much away. This story was a crazy ride and I enjoyed every minute of it.

This was an age gap, dark romance, mafia drama, family disputes, vendettas, revenge, murder, BDSM, and a whole lot more tied up in a pretty book with a hotter than sin mmc and a bada** mfc. What could go wrong?!

I have not read anything by this author before but she made an impact and I’m off to read book 3.

I loved this book, and wouldn't stop reading it till I had finished it, I was hooked from page one and knew I wouldn't be going to bed till I had read it.

This is book 2 in the Mac Tire Mafia series, This is Orin and Fallon's book.

Fallon knew all about the mafia clan as her brother Grayson was part of them, but she wasn't, that is until a badly injured man knocked on her door and shots were fired at them, that man was Orin, the Reaper for the Mac Tire clan.

After the events happened, Orin had to look out for Fallon, and protect her in every way he could as she was now a target. He had feelings for her but couldn't act on them as he had a certain taste when it came to sex and she was too innocent for that.

Fallon trusts Orin totally and he claimed her as his telling everyone else to keep away from her, and not talk to her. But when she overheard him saying he needed her gone, she fled.

Once all of their secrets were out they fell in love, although Grayson had something to say about that.

Loving this series it is so well written and the chemistry between the characters is alive and sizzling, I can't wait for the next book in this series, 5 easy stars from me.

Orin is A LOT! He’s over the top possessive, borderline psychotic, tortured and whole lot of dominant sexiness.

Fallon is Grayson’s little sister, she’s always knew about the Mac Tire Mafia but she always kept her distance from them. Just because her brother was a part of them, didn’t mean she wanted that life for herself.

But when Orin shows up, bleeding to death after being shot, she thrusted into the world.

I actually really like Orin. I enjoyed seeing him away from the mafia and his job as The Reaper. To me, he’s just a lost boy trying to find his way in the world and although he found the mafia he is still ultimately alone.

I thought Fallon and Orin both sharing traumatic pasts helped them bond on another level but I do wish, we got a little more healing on Orin’s side.

Fallon and Orin have a whole lot of chemistry and I really enjoyed seeing Fallon stand up to Orin and not be scared of him like everyone else is.

This was a super quick and enjoyable book. I’m definitely keen for the next one.

I will say, I’m still not a fan of Finnan.

If you’re looking for your next mafia romance read… THIS IS IT. The Reaper is an unbelievably fast paced, dark, steamy, forbidden romance, with a jealous and possessive MMC (Orin is just a chef’s kiss alphahole). He’s the clan’s reaper and a monster to everyone but her? SWOON. She’s afraid of all men except him? OBSESSED. The back and forth protecting each other between the two MCs had me in an absolute chokehold: she stitches him up, he makes sure she eats and rests, she helps him escape, he destroys her enemies…This book is the true definition of “touch her and die” and I ate that up. Both MCs have dark, traumatic pasts and experience many dangerous encounters while together. Who doesn’t love trauma bonding? I devoured this book in a single day. I could not put it down.

The Reaper is book 2 in the Mac Tire Mafia series.
It was fantastic, not as good as book one, but still just as enjoyable.

We were a mafia version of Mr. and Mrs Smith, but Angelina had nothing on my filly.

I loved how he took lives and she saved them, what a fantastic duo. Yin and Yang always go well together.
I love that both had their own trauma to work through and it brought a lot to the book itself.

I want you, all of you, in all the ways possible, but I cant let you have all of me.

He is one messed up man and she just saved his life but at what cost?! This book was heavy with emotional and physical trauma and was probably the more slow burn of all of this series I’ve read this far, but the spice was the most intense!! I gobbled up this book so fast, and I’m sad I have to wait for the next one to be released!!

Spicy

Spicy. That’s what Fallon and Orin are. Their connection was hot from the moment he first showed up at her door shot. Then being forced together as they go on the run to protect her, feelings can’t be resisted. I absolutely loved these two characters and how much they are willing to fight for each other. Another great book by Kally Ash!

And I’m totally intrigued about Kier’s book that I’m guessing is next based on the second epilogue.

Oh heck yea Sir Orin! This story was so great. The characters were so complex, deep and raw! I loved how their story developed and they took their time, processing and never rushing each other. This way surpassed the first in this series for me! Loved it!

I'm really starting to enjoy Mafia books because, let me tell you, Mafia men in books are something different. 🥵

Grayson is still my favourite, but I really enjoyed reading about Fallon's backstory.
