In Ceniza, whoever has money, has time.Kace Coronado was taught from a young age what his place in his world was to be. Bound by duty to uphold a society that has long favored the rich and privileged, he has begun training to take his rightful place in Synod, the governing committee that assigns all Ceniza citizens the rest of their lives. He had his entire life before him. But nothing ever worth having comes without a steep price. That price comes in the form of Ahava Downing, the girl from the lowest segment of the city that he never saw coming. She doesn’t need anyone, and she makes sure he knows it. His polar opposite, she is a walking embodiment of the very thing his leadership is meant to control. But the moment she boarded his transport, his entire focus began to transfer. His sun rises and sets on her.Priorities shift when everything they thought they knew about their world is uprooted, and truth begins to take form in its place. What would you do…if you knew you had your whole life ahead of you…but the love of your life only had a year left to live? What would you do…if the one you can’t help but love…also represented everything you’d been raised to hate? The race against time begins. Will anyone truly get out alive?

It’s been a long time since I’ve been completely blown away by a story, but this book did just that!

Numbered Days has all of the components that make up a five-star read: a unique and intriguing plot, engaging characters, and a hell of a twist! I became emotionally invested in this story, especially knowing that Kace and Ahava’s time together was limited, but it was the overall world that these authors created and everything it encompassed that I fell deeply in love with.

I cannot recommend this book enough, and I’m already looking forward to the next installment of the Lexenos Saga!

Coming from only reading Mystery/Thriller novels, this book shocked me with how good it was. A true page turner of wondering what's going to happen next, while still enjoying the characters growth.

If you're looking for a book that keeps you on your toes, infuriates you and leaves you wanting more - this is the book you'll want to read!

I can't wait for the next book!!!!!

This was a very good book, first of a series. A romance set in future times. My only issue is I was left with a cliff hanger and now must wait to read the Ahava and Kace continued love story. Apparently this book is two authors. The character development was wonderful. I really became invested in everyone, including the secondary characters. Now I have to find out when the next book comes out.

Wow, this book is REALLY good. I'd give it 4.5 if I could, for the last 20% of the book was amazing. This story has everything a good dystopian needs-- great allies, great enemies, a tense love story, an unfair society. It is so, so good.

The only reason I won't give it 5 stars, is there are huge patches of context missing, like the author was trying to rush through parts of the storyline, instead of fully explaining. I really wish that weren't the case. But otherwise, incredibly good.

You won't be able to put it down!

This is not my normal genre of reading, but I wanted something different this time. My only disappointment is that the book ended. Every time I thought I knew what was coming, the story twisted. I loved it from the beginning to the end. You will feel every emotion while wanting more! I can't wait until the second story comes out!

This book had me in its grasp from start to finish. I read it in 12 hours. I felt like I couldn’t put it down. In this amazing book, you will find the story of lovers meant for anyone but each other. The friendships and connections that form around them. The desolate environment they’ve grown in. Betrayal. Family. Honestly couldn’t recommend it more. I absolutely cannot wait for the next part!

I was hesitant as dystopia is not my typical genre, but I gave it a go, and I'm so glad I did! I loved watching the characters grow and change into the forces they became with every plot twist and turn of events. This book was an easy read and had me on the edge nonstop, not wanting to put it down. If there was ever an ending that made you wanting and needing more... this is it 🤌
