I really do love this series so much, I love the growth Rowe is showing is really good, I love how every book just keeps getting better and more addictive , I love how intelligent and quick thinking she is, even if she is also chaos. I can’t wait to read the next and see what’s in store.

Rowe and her guys. I've been practically binging the first three books, with a little break in between the second and third book while waiting for the third book to be ready, and I can already say that I will miss these characters the upcoming time while I have to wait for the fourth book to be ready. I already envy those who have been waiting for the third book and can now finally read it. Although I'm also very happy that I got an arc via BookSprout.

In the first book we've met the werewolves. In the second book the vampires were added to the mix and in the third book Rowe is finding a way to bring all of her guys together in a secret town where they don't like outsiders. Rowe herself is already a handful, in the best possible way of course, but now the town is forced to get used to way more changes that they are willing to make. It was an interesting and entertaining process to read.

Just like I really enjoyed the big clash that was happening in this book. In the first and second book we've read both the werewolf and vampire side of the story and it was a matter of time before they would meet again. I absolutely enjoyed the preparations and I most of all really enjoyed how clever everyone seemed to be about this fight. This was not just about brute force and who's the strongest. It was also about who's the smartest and can think out of the box.

I also really like how Rowe is growing in this book. She's still filled with energy and she's still driving everyone around her, and sometimes the reader, nuts. But secretly she's also learning. She's more confident in her abilities. She's learning to trust her instincts and her magic. And she's learning to manage her mate bonds. And therefore in the end she does things that only a character like Rowe can believably do.

I already can't wait to see what dangers are waiting for Rowe and her guys in the next book!

So the first two books in the series kinda had me wondering if I was going to continue on with the series. It was really up in the air when starting this book of I would like it or not.

Let's be honest. Rowe is a character who doesn't act her age (that is if anyone can remember how old she really is?!?🤔). She acts like a bratty teenager, dresses like a pre-teen, and often had the impulses of a child. It's hard to tell if she really loves any of her mates, except for Tris or maybe Ros; though she likes Owen and I think likes the idea he is hers. When it comes to Haut, she tolerates him but I feel she is more "hot" for his body than anything else.

So yeah, she is the same utterly clueless selfish character and was in the other books, but I suppose in this story there is FINALLY some movement on the witch-front. As in, Rowe finally starts wanting to learn to be a witch. Ugh, about dang time. There is more action and some culmination of the plot. Not a lot of spice or steamy stuff, but she really too silly for me to care about that. Guess we'll see what mess she drags everyone into next.

I am loving following Rowe and her men as they figure out this multiple mate, multiple species bonding. Werewolf, Vampire, Witch, Wolf shifter.... The spice level is fun, the flirting is fun. The dynamics are awesome. Each character is so well rounded into their own person. You dont have to wonder who they are at all. I love that about this author and her series. You really know each character as an individual! It makes them very real. The dynamic between Rowe and Tris is particularly fun!

Half the book centers on finding Ros sister Delilah and the second on the threat that his father poses to all supernatural's. Involving now a witches coven who appears to be the strongest and more official ranking of governments of the supernatural and finding out Rowe is a long lost heir to the most powerful witch family of all. Exciting things are coming next!!.

A basket full of goodies

** Cliffhanger Warning! ** I love this book! It's still a fantasy, reverse harem, action-adventure with lots of things coming back to bite people on the... flanks. The suspense and twists don't stop. There's barely any time for pie or bacon.

There's actually an incident where some bacon burgers are lost in a kerfuffle. Shocking!!!

I especially enjoyed the world building revealed as Rowe and someone else in the main character group (no spoilers here) work with witch magic. The climax was bursting with fabulous action and an epic battle.

After all the goodies revealed before and during said battle, I really needed some pie. Then there's an intriguing twist at the very end, so that Cliffhanger is a doozy. I need the next book asap.

Still lots of typos, but there's a lot less verb tense mayhem. There's a couple of glitches, too. BUT the story is so engrossing that those things are mild annoyances.

I really enjoyed Magic's Feud. The Hartford Cove series so far is action-packed, with an engrossing story. This book picks up right after the previous book in the series, and we're right into the action. As with the previous books in the series, this one is an action-packed emotional roller coaster. Rowe is such a distinctive character, and I love that she hasn't lost her quirks as she grows, and that her mates cherish her just as she is, even while acknowledging that she drives them crazy at times. There are laugh out loud moments, and heart in your throat moments, and everything in between. I highly recommend this book for fans of romantic fantasy, just be sure to read the start of teh series first.

At over 560 pages, this installment is long and packed with action. Rowe is still the same bratty, clueless, and often selfish heroine—sometimes acting more like a teenager than someone adult. Her relationships with her mates feel uneven; only with Tris (and maybe Ros) does it seem genuine, while others feel more superficial.

That said, I appreciated that she finally starts taking her witch abilities seriously, and the clash between werewolves and vampires was clever, strategic, and fun to read. The town dynamics and Rowe’s slow growth gave the story more depth. While she still drives me crazy, there’s progress—and that makes me curious to see what kind of chaos she causes next.

Magic's Feud is the third story in the Monsters Among Us: Hartford Cove. I absolutely fell in love with this book series. I couldn't enough of the story, and the storyline kept me captivated from the beginning all the way through to the very last page. Author L.L. Frost continues to surprise me with her amazing storytelling and writing skills. Magic's Feud is perfectly written and well-balanced with various emotions. Magic's Feud is ease to read, action-packed, wonderful characters, a page turner, and just overall an amazing book. I would definitely encourage readers to pick up Magic's Feud and give it a read.

Rowe is hilarious with her different mates, friends and enemies. But there were times her childish acting grated on my nerves. Don't get me wrong, I love this series but it's past time for Rowe to start acting like a grown-up. Everyone should be allowed to act like a child once in a while, it's what keeps us young, but every time she interacts with people it always leads to her acting childish. Lots of action, sexy scenes and plenty of worry/terror for the various characters. Can't wait for book 4.

It just seems like Rowe can't win no matter what she does.
But Rowe is one strong little witch and she's very determined to find the witch who's been calling her, after she figures out some other stuff that's been bothering her.
There are so many twists and turns in this story I found it hard to put down but geez the imagination of the author blew me away.

Book 3 of The Hartford Cove series, let's just get to know the residents even better and the incidents that need Rowe's attention keep piling on the pack. The action and plot twists continued to keep as involved in the story. Well developed characters sometimes feels like real individuals like you'd know personally. It takes an author with a lot talent to do this. I'm really enjoying this series.

I almost devour these books when I get them. I just can't stop 'til I've read every word available to me and then hope and pray that the next book arrives very, very soon! The story line is fresh and engaging. I'm never quite sure where our dear heroine is going to go or what she is going to do but I know I can be assured that it will probably be a bigger mess than before. Sounds kinda like my luck! Anyways, start this series. You'll be oh so glad you did!

So much fun to read

Omg I LOVE this book... This series! A witch, a werewolf, a wolf shifter, and a vampire... And those are just the book boyfriends (mates!). The story is addictively charming, compelling, surprising at times, and absolutely hilarious. I can't wait to read more!

Only downside is there's quite a few grammatical errors... But the book is good enough I can just overlook them.

Shock and heritage

This is book three of the Monsters Among Us: Hartford Cove series and the main character is Rowe Branning, who is still dealing with the voice of a witch invading her mind and finally revealing a little bit more about who she is and why she has been trying to contact Rowe. She has kidnaped Ros (Ambrose), a vampire and her third mate, and brought him back to Hartford Cove, where his presence is not exactly welcome amongst the mainly wolf shifters of the town. But the town needs Rowe in town, as the last remaining Wendall witch who can power the ward around the town and keep its citizens all safe from outsiders. Rowe needs to find Ros’ missing sister, Delilah Shultz, who may not be as dead as he thought. He has separated himself from her other mates Owen and Tris, and Haut who isn’t quite in with the rest of them as such. Just as she was getting jiggy with Owen, Haut crawls in wounded, after being shot with a silver bullet and thus unable to shift to heal! Ambrose’s sister was apparently in love with a wolf sifter and his father ordered Rowe’s captor Bryant to kill her wolf and imprison her till she learnt her lesson. The witch speaking in Rowe’s head is with her and asking her to save them. Those following Rowe and Ros may have got too close to town and it is huntsmen who use silver bullets. The ward should keep out those who mean harm to anyone in the town, but it may have been weakened.

Rowe had left town with Tris, to get away from Owen after he became Alpha, and Haut had left as well. Now they are all back in town and Rowe wants to see about the werewolf curse, that Owen is still under. It is the full moon and Owen and the other werewolves must be locked away for the next three days to keep the rest of the town safe. Rowe seems to have a calming effect on Owen and his need to shift, same as she was able to keep Haut calm after his wolf was shot with a silver bullet. Now she just has to figure out how to speak to the witch in her head, after making a mess of her first attempts, especially since she hasn’t exactly had much magic training, and ran away from Haut whilst he was trying to teach her, annoyingly slowly! Having Ros in town is not going down well with some of the townsfolk, but even Tris being one of her mates upsets a certain jealous female gang, who don’t like witch Rowe taking one of theirs! More secrets are about to be revealed about Ambrose’s father’s involvement in the taking of witches and bleeding them for blood, along with Bryant, the huntsman and vampire who took Rowe prisoner and tortured her, something she still has nightmares about now and easily gets triggered about. She had thought Bryant was dead, but it isn’t that easy to kill a vampire in this world. The news that her father worked with Bryant originally, before he mated her mother, isn’t quite as much of a shock as it could have been, since she had found out he was also a huntsman until he packed it all in to raise her in a very secretive manner.

Rowe needs to locate this witch who speaks to her occasionally, before she is too late to rescue her and any other witches still with her. But leaving Hartford Cove with enemies at the virtual wall is not the smartest thing to do. Not that Rowe does the sensible thing very often, preferring to react to situations and always doing what she can to save others, especially those she loves. Time is running out for the witches hidden away by Bryant more than a month ago, with the situation changing once Rowe was rescued and Bryant stopped, for now! More innocent lives will be lost in the epic battle between huntsmen and wolf shifters in Hartford Cove, with a traitor leading them in. Ros has been trying to find his own supporters to help in the battle against his father’s evil action against witches. The huntsmen were supposed to be the ones to hunt down rogue paranormals and the paranormal council supposedly had a treaty with them, but it is his own father’s huntsmen who are taking witches and using them for their wicked experiments and their blood. Rowe had thought she finally had all four of her mates back at her home, but matters get in the way of that. Mrs Smith, the gnarly old wolf shifter on the town council, wants Rowe and her vampire out, not welcoming outsiders, especially if they don’t follow the old rules the town has in place. I love the snark from Rowe that she seems to apply to every situation she finds herself in, even being totally inappropriate with her speech to others, especially her mates and her names and chat with them. Lots of magic to be learnt, but also instant family and a home for many to find and defend. A great read and I can’t wait to see how it is all going to end, as yet another twist is added to the plot.
